I've been taking telma 20 for my blood pressure. Please post the symptoms of an allergic reaction to this tablet. I am suffering from cough since 3 months due to this tablet. does this medicine cause arrhythmia and palpitation ## i am 62 years. Having DM Type II but under control. BP ranges from 150/80 to 110/60. Pulse irregular. Recently also started taking Telma 20 with Triglynase 2. Is this a proper treatment. ## To the original poster, yes it can cause those types of issues in some people that take it. telma 20 or telma 40 - which tablet is stronger? ## The higher dosage, the 20 is a 20mg Telma tablet and the 40 is a 40mg Telma tablet. But the operative question is, which one has your doctor told you to take? Telmisartan is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Taking too much can be dangerous, as it could lower your blood pressure and heart rate too much. ## I am 70+ so is telma 20 or telma 40 mg tablet should be used regularly to maintain my blood pressure. ## My BP is 160/110 and pulse rate 110. I have been diagnosed with Lichen Planus (skin disease). I also have high blood pressure for which I have been taking Amlong 10mg in the morning and Telma 20mg post dinner for the last 7 years. Recently, my doctor has told me to take an alternative medicine to Amlong 10mg since this medicine has side effects that include skin rashes, etc. Please advise whether it's ok to have Stamlo 10mg as a substitute? ## They both contain the same active ingredient, so it isn't likely that switching will change the side effects that you are experiencing. The NIH lists other side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Did you experience any rashes, or other side effects while taking it?

Identified Urine MicroAlbumine little high so Doctor prescribed Ramistar2.5mg taking it since 2 months, now getting dry cough since 2 weeks. I am 40 yr Male. Now replacing with Telma 20mg.
