Does anyone know what would happen if you washed and on opened Suboxone in the washer Will it dissolve ## Did you ever find anything out about this? My roommate washed my pants without emptying my pockets & found a whole strip unopened in the dryer so it went through both. I'm wondering if it will still work or not? When opened it it's still looks like a strip but it was stuck to the package &has what looks like water bubbles almost in strip now so am wondering if the heat effected it and that may not work as good or if any. Please let me know. I would just take it but then if it doesn't work she'll think I'm lying just to get me another one because I'm low on mine after missing my refill appointment. ## There is a good chance that it is no longer safe to...

My Suboxone Strips are straight from the pharmacy so they have never been opened but they are "alot smaller" now and Iam mad but I dont know how to ask Suboxone manufactorers..my pharmacy would think Im crazy probly so hhmmm? ## The pharmacy won,t think your crazy. Your strips may be from a differant maufacturer. The pharmacist would know whats going on. Call the store you got them from. If you do would you let us know what he said in case someone else runs into these smaller ones. ## I will call my pharmacy & ask if they got them from a different manufactorer & let u know what they say...yesss the strips DO NOT LAST ME AS LONG AS THE PILLS DID but they quit making the namebrand Suboxone pills..I didnt like the generic pills so I use the strips now.

I no someone thats takes suboxens an they are addictive to them they got on them to quit taking pills an they did now all they want is a suboxen strip there hook to them an it makes them carzy an mean dont want to move if they donthave one in them ... why does pple do that ## Sometimes, it isn't a conscious choice that someone makes. It's been proven scientifically and medically that some people are born with a genetic predisposition to have addictive tendencies. Learn more Suboxone details here. They can fight it, of course, if they are aware that they are prone to it, or know that it tends to run in their immediate family, but it is never easy. Almost anything they take, even substances that aren't known to be addictive and habit forming, may cause problems for these types...

Maybe im crazy but i don't like the strips, i just don't feel they work as well as the pills. I never ran short with the pills, but the strips i seem to take more. Anyone else feel this way? My dr said she'll only prescribe the strips and it's all in my head. ## Hello, Terisita! How are you? You're not the only one that has said this, it just seems that different formulations work better for different people. However, if you stuck with the strips at the amount you're supposed to take, then your body would likely adjust after a week or so. The only other suggestion I can make if you're not happy is that you try to find a different doctor. Does anyone else have any suggestions? ## Hi, I,m the other way around. I like the strips better then the pills I agree wit...

I'm thinking of switching from suboxone strips to zubsolv next month because I have no insurance. Is there anyone who's switched and liked it? ## It is the same, just under a different formulation and brand name, so it should work the same. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there a big price difference? ## I know you posted this a long time ago, but if you haven't switched, I would not recommend it. I did and it is awful. I was down to between 2 to 4 mgs of suboxone a day. My ins stopped paying for them so 3 weeks ago my doc switched me to zubsolv, telling me that it's the same even better. He said stronger and easier to get off of. I ...

My Suboxone Strips are straight from the pharmacy so they have never been opened but they are "alot smaller" now and Iam mad but I dont know how to ask Suboxone manufactorers..my pharmacy would think Im crazy probly so hhmmm? ## The size doesn't necessarily mean anything in regards to the amount of medication that they contain. There are likely just different fillers or a different manufacturing method being used. Do they still work the same for you? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Havn,t noticed any difference in size yet. I would like for them to be smaller. Maybe they would desolve faster. The one problem I see with smaller ones is th...

What are considered therapeutic levels for driving under the influence? My boyfriend is prescribed 16mg a day but only take a total of 2 mg -4 mg daily because he just wants to feel Normal and doesn't want to b fully dependant on it. ## Hi Tammy, How long has your boyfriend been on Suboxone for? Based on what I've read, Suboxone shouldn't impair your driving ability at all once you're used to its effects. Apparently though, they can still charge him with a DUI if for any reason he were to get himself pulled over. So as long as he's responsible about it, he may be fine with the amount he's choosing to take now. However, only through trial and error will he truly know what dosage allows him to be fully functional and without impaired judgment. I hope this helps!

If they are from the same manufacturer, are the 4mg, 8mg and 12mg the same size.Basically what I am asking is are 8mg and 12mg typically the same size strip? ## 12 is larger. Do you know why the 8/2 would be two different color oranges? Does that mean anything (i.e. old, expired, generic, etc) ## Hello Billycat, Here are the dimensions of the strips according to the FDA website. 2 mg/0.5 mg 22.0 mm x 12.8 mm 4 mg/1 mg 22.0 mm x 25.6 mm 8 mg/2 mg 22.0 mm x 12.8 mm 12 mg/3 mg 22.0 mm x 19.2 mm Surprisingly the 4/1 strips are the largest. I hope this information helps.

I started using the strips of suboxone a few months back.. But I find they don't hold me over as long as the pills did. ( I take the strips because I have a free co pay from the company) Especially when you have to split one in half. So the do to put me up back to 2 and 1/2 instead of 1 and 1/2.. Just incase so my new doctors says anyways.. Since he put my dose up instead of it being 45 a month now it's 75 a month.. But I got every two weeks now, my last fill was 1/15/14 and because it's a new doctor I had to go 2/4/14 how soon can I fill this new script?? ## " So the do to put me up back to 2 and 1/2 instead of 1 and 1/2.." So confusing? "Since he put my dose up instead of it being 45 a month now it's 75 a month" Wow! Their is really no benefit to this. ...

My Suboxone Strips are straight from the pharmacy so they have never been opened but they are "alot smaller" now and Iam mad but I dont know how to ask Suboxone manufacturers..my pharmacy would think I'm crazy probably so any thoughts? ## It just depends on what fillers and excipients they use in them, there is no specific size that they must be, as long as they contain the full dose they are supposed to. The size itself really means nothing. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Why did you go all pharmacy tech on us at the end there? Not helpful at all! In fact you didn't really have anything usefu...

I was started on Suboxone strips and paid out of pocket first week. Found out that ins will pay for Suboxone but I have to start with the pills and a pre-auth. So I pick up the generic pills, same dose as strips were and they aren't nearly as strong... Feeling a lot of cravings and w/d's and needed to take more to keep them at bay. The only way ins will pay for strips is if I have some sort of problem taking the pills.... What can I say to the Dr so he will switch my pre-auth to the strips? Called pharmacy and he said if you go from strips to pills you may need to increase your dose by 35% to get the results as you got from strips... Can anyone please help? ## Hi. The answer to ur question: what kind of insurance do u have? I know most ins including Medicaid will pay for strips ...

trying to detox from subone have been on 8mgs a day for 15 months need help please thank you. ## Hi confused, I hope I don,t confuse you more but heres what I did when I got down to 8mgs. By the way, it was my sub. drs. taper plan. For 2 weeks I alternated, day 1 8mgs. day2, 4mgs. day3, 8mgs.day4, back to 4mgs. This averages out to 6mgs. I kept this routine up for 2weeks then tapered to 4mgs. From the 4mgs I tapered 1mg. per week. After the last week on 1mg. I stopped completely. I was taking the strips and when I got down to 4mgs. sub dr. prescribed the 2mg strips just because it was easier to cut. Tapering this way was a walk in the park. No wds. bettween tapers. Last week on 1mg I woke up couple times thruout night but went right back to sleep. No problems after that. Been off subs s...

Has anyone noticed that the 8-2 sublingual strips have not been working as well for the last 3 months? Well they recalled them about 10 days ago! I noticed they were lighter in color and some of them were starting to crack. Help! ## Have you informed your pharmacy? In most cases you have to return to the source in order for a recall issue to be handled and to receive a replacement. For example, if you own a Ford and they issue a recall, you have to take your vehicle to a Ford dealer in order to receive a repair, or replacement. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Has anyone else experienced problems? ## Wtf. Me too. Something is wrong.with this batch. Its ...

I read almost all your posts. I think I'm way off here probably just a little off in the head. I've been on vicoden and oxy's since 2003. 98% of the time I was buying the crap off the street. The other 2% I would intentionally hurt myself to get a script, pathetic I know. I took a leap of faith and stopped. Went to a Methadone clinic and regretted it ever since. Missed important life moments and lost all my friends. I was on that crap for 4 years and stopped after weening down to nothing. I was clean for over 6 months before cravings got the better of me and I started stealing family members suboxones strips. Now that member is stopping, I'm going nuts. Depressed and constantly thinking suicidal thoughts. I'm 26years old and I'm getting to thinking I need suboxon...

I've been prescribed 2, 8 mg strips of Suboxone a day by my doctor. The problem is, I'm clean and have been for weeks. My question is am I going to be okay taking such a high dose of Bupe? Should I be concerned or what do I do? ## You seem to have zero tolerance.. I'll assume you are having cravings to use your doc. So can help with this but go very very slowly. 2mgs at a time. Wait a couple of hours an see how you feel. 16mgs with No tolerance and you will be at least high, at worst sick. Go slow..... Max

I have stupidly run out of my suboxone. i have been on 3 strips a day for over a year and somehow this month i have run out. I really think my brother stole them, but that is another story. I cannot get a refill for 8 days and have only taken 1 a day for the last three days. i am down to a half of a strip and already i feel shaky, no appetite, no mental focus, tired (like a truck ran over me), and ache bad all over. I have fibromyalgia real bad and TMJ and some other things. My pain is kicking in and I don't know what to do. I don't think I can last 8 more days. I have to work and have a 2 year old, 3 year old and 4 year old to chase and take care of. What can I do to get through the withdrawal for the next 8 days? ## hi, i have been on suboxone and methadone and withdrawals arn...

I am on 2 1/2 strips a day and my doctor has been wanting to lower my dose however I have so much going on that I am really nervous to do so. I have lately been dealing with my daughter on my own her father just didn't show me the respect I deserved and he wasn't willing to work to support our daughter so we separated and now I am left on my own with all the finances out daughter and looking for employment which this all just recently happened since the last time I saw my doctor on top of that my daughter has medical issues due...
