I have been on 2mg suboxone for over 4 years to treat chronic back/ neck pain. Yesterday I was told that there is a backorder on suboxone. Suboxone is the only drug that will relieve the pain with out mind or mood altering effects. My daughter is on suboxone and takes klonopin and neurontin. Is there a toxic interaction between these when taken together? ## Hello, Linnie! How is your daughter? I didn't find any listed, so it should be fine, as long as they've all been prescribed for her and her doctor is monitoring her regularly. Both the Klonopin and Suboxone can increase sedation, but that is the only issue listed, according to the FDA. They also carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause other side effects, such as dry mouth, dizziness and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## You are wrong. I had osteomyelitis a few years back. Was on methadone & vicodin until I got pregnant with my son. Got switched to suboxone and have been on it since. I've recently been diagnosed with ADHD, I'm 32 & it explains so much now. Anyway, I need to find a Dr who will be OK with writing me for both meds. I am in desperate need of finding a doctor who will prescribe subutex in wv. I cannot take suboxone for it makes me very depressed and suicidal. If anyone can help me please find someone that can help me. I cannot go to another treatment center bc I don't drive and I can only find rides for doctor appointments if its once or twice a month only. I am currently on subutex now but it costs way too much. I am currently in treatment and have been for 3 months. I am allergic to Suboxone but was put on it anyway even though another doctor in the facility personally witnessed my allergy to Suboxone. I also had the same exact reaction to Bunavail. I was taken off my Subutex which I had no problem with and put on something I am allergic to. I do NOT wish to continue seeing a doctor willing to risk my life because they are that afraid of the DEA. I went to a doctor in PA that prescribed me subutex. I went to a few pharmacies in the area (Washington, Pa) but they only carried Suboxone.
