I stopped taking my plastics and started using horse chestnut 300 milligram my doctor advised me that I could take them both together but after reading the advice on WebMD um I don't think I should be taking them together I have high cholesterol to stance one of my heart in one of my leg and I just need some help should I take them together ## Hello, Lu! How are you? Are you aware that the horse chestnut isn't actually proven to work? It would have been better to stay on the Plavix and not take it. And since the horse chestnut is a supplement, it hasn't been tested for interactions with prescription medications, so your doctor likely knows more on that. Are you on any other medications?

My spouse has tried both bp meds. The benicar is u much better med than thr loristatin. Benicar works very well. The loriststin just doesn't work @ all. The benicaris much more expensive but what's the point if you get something that doesn't even work. We will stay with benicar. I am sorry for including all of this info but I am being as detailed as possible. I am a 57 year old woman. 5 years ago a swarm of bees hit our horses as our work team building trail ride crested a small mountain. I was thrown off my horse, broke my pelvis, severe damage to back & neck, and was trampled by three other horses causing organ damage and internal bleeding. Ambulance couldn't get to me so I was strapped on an ATV and bounced down the rocky slope. A medi-vac took me to a trauma center. My lungs have been conjested for six days now. A fever, can't sleep, can't breathe properly, and I have no appetite, lost ten lbs. My Dr. put me on AMOX-CLAV 875mg. Huge white horse pill, twice a day with food. Fever is down, appetite, ? a little better, but I don't have any energy at all. No side affects, lungs are still full of clear mucus. I will continue this medication for the ten days as prescribed. ## Thanks for taking the time to share your experience.
