When should I use stat flush an b clear before a test ( time frame ) ## Take pills 3 hours before appointment. With 36 - 40 oz of Water within 10 minutes. Urinate at least 3 times. When at the lab, let the beginning of the urine stream in toilet, then in cup, and the last part of steam in the toilet, because the drug where it most lies at is at the beginning and end of the urine stream. So try to only capture the middle of the stream. The pills allows to mask the drug for a 4-5 hour window. This 4-5 hours becomes effective exactly an hour of consuming the pills. Good luck. It worked for me twice. ...

Clonidine for hot flushes
2 Replies RSS
Was prescribed clonidine for hot flashes and night sweats. Has been very effective in stopping night sweats but instead of lowering my blood pressure my blood pressure has gone through the roof. Yesterday and today I have been getting blood pressure readings of like187/90 and 179/80. I do have high blood pressure but take meds for this and in usually about 140/80. The doctor was worried they're taking the clonidine might take the blood pressure too low but it has had the opposite effect Has anyone heard of this happening and have any idea why? I am not going to take anymore but I am dreading the return of the night sweats ## Hello, Barbara! How are you? Can u flush a vivitrol shot out by drinking and sweating?
2 Replies RSS
Can u flush vivitrol from ur system? It's making me very sore and tired all day, but I still can't sleep either. I had it one week ago and I can't take it anymore. ## Hi Joz, Sorry to hear about your situation. According to the FDA, Vivitrol has an estimated elimination half-life of 5 to 10 days (at which point only half of the dose you took would theoretically be out of your body). However, the FDA notes that this time frame is dependent upon the erosion of the polymer... I would also conclude that a variety of individual factors may heavily influence whether you're closer to the 5 day mark vs 10 day mark in its half life. Lastly, the FDA states that the elimination half life of Vivitrol and its metabolites occurs primarily via urine; so I'd agree that drinking lots... ...

My sister had stage 4 cancer this was one of her meds before being placed on liquid morphine. Should I flush? I found 2 ## Hello, Fred! How are you? No, please do not flush any medications. The FDA guidelines for proper disposal state that they should be mixed with some undesirable substance, such as used cat litter or wet coffee grounds, placed into a sealed container and then disposed of in your usual garbage. Alternatively, you can also take them to any pharmacy and they will dispose of them for you. This tablet is listed as being a 60mg controlled release Morphine tablet. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I have 4.8 cm stone 4 pcs on my gallbladder. I suffer pain in my back and in my hips. ## Depending on what your doctor has stated, you may or may not decide to proceed with having your gallbladder surgically removed. The good news is that there are a number of traditional folk remedies which may help your condition. "An alternative to surgery and gallstone removal by chemical dissolution is gallbladder flush. Traditional European folk remedy recommends the use of olive oil and lemon juice to flush the gallstones. A major concern is that if the stones are too big, they may not easily come out or may even get stuck on the way out. I am in menopause, my doctor has me take 2 Medroxypr ac 2.5 mg. pills for 10 days every 3 months to cause me to cycle. He stated that since my body isn't naturally sluffing off the cells like it use to, this will do that. Does anyone else do this? My friends have never heard of this and they are also into or through menopause. ## Have you considered looking into any natural alternatives for menopause related symptoms? Can insomnia cause Paxil withdrawal symptoms?
1 Reply RSS
i'e been on Paxil (20 mg)for about 2 years to calm menopausal hot flushes. It's worked like a charm, and given me wonderful sleeps. However, after an emotional trauma, I had one sleepless night, and suddenly, all the symptoms of Paxil withdrawal have appeared. I feel thirsty all the time and my head feels like I'm having mild electric shocks, together with dizziness and nausea. I tried to explain this to a pharmacist, here in Mexico, where I'm on holiday. She didn't know what I was talking about. Any feedback on his would be appreciated. ## Hello, Rachelle! How are you doing? Are you feeling any better? That is very odd. Minimal dose of Synthroid causing early side effects - Advice?
Post a Reply
I've been having trouble starting on a low of synthroid to treat sub-clinical hypothyroidism (TSH ~3.5, no values for T4/T3) for fertility reasons. I'm 33, generally healthy, not overweight, exercise daily and eat a healthy diet. Admittedly, I have been under considerable stress for many years and need to keep working on stress management. First attempt: I initially started taking 25mcg. I've taken the medication first thing in the morning with a full glass of water, not eaten anything for 2 hours and not taken any vitamins/supplements at the same time. 2 days after starting this dose, I began to have a racing heart rate, felt panicky, was very flushed and emotionally labile (crying for no reason/fly off the handle, not my typical emotional state).
