Does xanax come in 3.5 mg. and what color is it? Can it be crushed and snorted. If so, does it act faster than xanax taken by mouth? How long does snorted xanax's giive you a "high"? Please help. Not only are you running the risk of overdose, but you are also inhaling substances that are not meant to be broken down by the human body. Many pills contain fillers that are nornally just expelled in your waste. When inhaled or injected, they can create clots and blockages, resulting in decreased lung capacity and stroke. Certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. If you get an antibiotic for a cold do you ever think about snorting, smoking or shooting it up? I have a friend that took the old OCs and would always chew or snort them. He'd say it hit's him harder which is not a medical phrase I'd imagine. He does the same with Clodipin(SP) and says its like taking a Xanax. I sort of think it's funny because I actually have to take them for the long duration effect and Xanax doesn't last. Now with the 80 OPs he can't chew them or snort them. I don't think he's thought of smoking but I don't know anyone who has smoked a pill unless you call Ice or Crack a pill. I'm prescribed 20mg oxycodone and Xanax and take a standard drug screen to make sure I'm using my meds. I Have just been prescribed the Alprazolam 1mg 3 times daily as needed, this is my second day trying it, they switched me from .5 lorazepam to the Xanax, and my anxiety has actually been under control. I took 3 Xanax, just wanting to know how long it will take to get out of my system/urine as I have a test soon. I had read that swallowing 3 Xanax will be out of the body within 72 hours.
