My friens split what she says is a subutex with me one side has the 54 on it the other has a line do they have 8 mg subutexs with a line scored on one side that arent completely flat ## Hi sammijo, I haven't seen any Subutex that are scored as you mentioned them to be (at least from looking online). However one that did catch my eye is a round white generic Buprenorphine tablet with the number "54" sitting over another set of numbers "411" on one side and blank on the other. I wonder if it is possible that your friend could've gotten the half which contained these other numbers? And do you feel she is someone you can honestly trust when it comes to something like this? I imagine it's possible that the pill could be from some manufacturer overseas, but because...

Trying to identify an orange, round pill with DRA on one side and a single scored line on the other. Thought they were subutex but can not confirm. Typical searches return Dramamine but when you look closer, it lists the color as white. Also, Dramamine spells it out as the imprint vs DRA. I have seen it listed as subutex 8mg once. Tried to ask a pharmacist, he couldn't identify it either. Please help - I need to know what this is I found in my sons room. ## My research also yields Dramamine (25mg) as a result with an imprint of "DRA" under the following National Drug Code of 63029-904, except the white color and second score line don't match up as you already pointed out. I see that Subutex is listed as a suspect in another related discussion thread here, but the post (#...

Found a small white pill in my sons room it has a larger 5 in the middle with either a dash or a period followed by a smaller size 7. What is this pill?? ## Hello, Tyzach! How are you? Yes, this is similar to Subutex, it's called Zubsolve and contains 5.7mgs of Buprenorphine and 1.4mgs of Naloxone. This is a narcotic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I found Subutex in my daughter's room with a needle. Do people really IV this? Why do people take it that dont need it? ## The pill in description is Buprenorphine hydrochloride (subutex) 8 mg. It is a semi-synthetic opioid that is used to treat opioid addiction in higher dosages (>2mg) and to control moderate pain in non-opioid tolerant individuals in lower dosages (~200 mg). Yes, Subutex can be administered intravenously. This is a very addictive drug that gives off a euphoric rush similar to other opioids in addition to a slight "upper"-like effect. ## Hello, administering these intravenously is very dangerous so please take them from her and tell her she is messing with her life, i am only 24 and have never used a needle but have had drug problems all my life since i...

Does generic subutex have the numbers 501? ## Hi Leslie - Hmmm, I don't believe so. The only info I could find about a white tablet with the imprint 501 is Mirtazapine 45 mg, which is used to treat depression. (NDC 53808-0737). Does that sound about right to you? If not then I would double check where the medication was obtained. Are there any other markings or packaging for the tablet? Also, is it kind of oval shaped at all, or is it definitely a round circle?

Small white round pill with the numbers 54 755 on the same side. ## I was using perk 10s for over a year and having a hard time coming off this opiate being told if wanting to be free of this addiction and using subutex the right way will be very helpful in my recovery ## Yes, this tablet is manufactured by Roxane Laboratories, and they list it as containing 2mgs of Buprenorphine, which is most commonly used to help treat drug addiction, and to treat some forms of chronic pain. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. The inactive ingredients may include: citric acid anhydrous, corn starch, crospovidone, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, mannitol, povidone, sodium citrate, though they may vary depending...

My friend takes 8mg subutex and when he picked up his script today, they weren't the usual white tablet. They were white and the size of a 2mg subutex with an 8 on one side and an arrow on the other. Could his pharmacist have made a big mistake or are these just a different brand?? ## From what I can tell these tablets do contain 8mgs of Buprenorphine, the active ingredient in Subutex. They were originally released in the U.k. and then became available in the U.S. when the generic market for the medication opened up here. So yes, just a different manufacturer, they are made by Arrow, which explains the logo on the tablet, they use that on all of their products. Are there any questions or comments? ## Thank you so much! I actually did some research on Arrow Generics and saw that they...

Hi, I have a white round pill. It has no imprint on either side. But it looks just like a subutex. Is there a subutex with no imprint? What is it? ## No, under current FDA law in the U.S. all manufactured tablets must have a unique imprint to enable their identification. Tablets without any marking are most likely some type of over the counter product. The FDA warns that Subutex carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

A friend of mine told me her pharmacy told her they were going to be only getting the small round generic subutex tablets. I have always gotten the big ones. I do not like the small ones, I don't abuse them. So has anyone else heard that they are going to quit making the round generic 54 411 suburex ?? ## @lifesaver, There haven't been any official announcements from the FDA or drug companies regarding the discontinuation of this pill. So I'm not sure where your friend heard this information, but it's possible that it may not be public news yet if she recently got these details in advance from someone within the company. The manufacturer of this specific pill is Roxane Laboratories, Inc. I would suggest contacting them directly for a more accurate answer on what their fu...

I want to see an image of a Subutex white round pill with the 460 imprint on it. May I see this please? ## Unfortunately, I'm unable to locate an image of the pill. However, I did find the next best thing for verification. The pill you're describing is made by Sun Pharmaceutical ltd. and carries a National Drug Code of 62756-460. The size of the pill is approx. 10mm You can also view an image of the product packaging at: nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo=9fd1f18f I hope this helps!

(round white pill 155 crescent moon on other side) - How should i take my pill? Let it melt like suboxone or swallow it? ## This is not a Subutex tablet, this is a generic for Suboxone, it contains 8mgs of Buprenorphine and 2mgs of Naloxone and it is a regular tablet that's meant to be swallowed. It is not orally disintegrating. Learn more Suboxone details here. This is still a narcotic opiate, so it does carry the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Are there any other questions? ## hi...i was shocked to read this...is this a new generic for suboxone? i had heard something about the....at a loss for the word, when you have exclusivity for a drug and generics can't be made, i'd not known of suboxo...

Has anyone ever taken or hear about a peach/orange covered, oval subutex with the inscription 54 411 on it? .. I can't find these particular ones online anywhere but I believe theyre brand new and I was also wondering what milligram they are? ## The last time I filled my script that's what they were, Orange, oval, 8mg bupenorphen. ## Hi Challen, These orange oval tablets must be fairly new, as per my research, 8mg Buprenorphine Hydrochloride with an imprint of 54 411 is still identified as being white and round. On the other hand, 8mg Buprenorphine Hydrochloride has also been made available in an orange oval tablet with 153 on one side and an Actavis half moon logo on the other. These are somewhat new as well, so not to be mistaken for the other orange oval tablet that you'r...

If I get prescribed the sublingual film could I ask the pharmacy to dispense the generic tablets ## No Nate. They won't switch out. Subutex is a completely different script. ## @nate, It probably wouldn't hurt to ask, but if I'm not mistaken, your doctor may have to be the one to make that request prior to writing your 'next' prescription. Usually the pharmacy will only give you what they have on the shelf at that time unless your doctor makes a point of notifying them on the script that you want a specific form of the medication. Do the sublingual films not work as well for you? ## I have a white round pill with the markings GPI A5 says to be Subutex. Is that so?

The little subutex with the arrow do not work as well as the 54-411 big round white ones they are the best. I have taken subutex for a long time now if you ever come across the orange subutex shaped like a football they are garbage. I don't know what it is but they do not work I can take one 54411 and be good for the day. If it's the orange football ones or the small white arrow ones I can take three of those and still feel like carp at the end of the day.. ## hi I took the moon ones then they moved me to 54 411 they seem so strong should I just lower it down ? I use to have take 4 moon . Thanks

I have the relatively new generic for subutex. It's round and white with the numbers 54 411 on one side and blank on the other. I was wondering if u ingest this sublingual like the original or if u swallow it. Please let me know. ## This is an 8mg Buprenorphine tablet, the active ingredient in Subutex and yes, it is meant to be used sublingually. Is there anything else I can help you with? ## I took only a quarter of the generic subutex. about 43 hours ago and now i need to take a vicodon. dose any one know if its ok to do that. Cuz i heard if you take it to soon you can get withdrawl symptons or you have to take more than usual because of the opiet recepters.?????????? ## It should be fine, but you may nite get the full effect of the vicodin due to the high affinity to the receptor...

Small white round pill with imprint TL 12 is subutex used for opiate addiction! This works great for withdraws from opiate pain medication but most commonly givin for those that have been taking oxycontin and roxycodone!!!! Works GREAT!!!! ## small white round pill with the imprint TL 12 ls 8mg subutex. used for treatment of opiate addiction. works great to relieve withdraws with some mild side effects! ## Can you provide any other information, such as the dosage and where it's from? I can't find anything listed in the U.S. prescription drug databases for Subutex or Buprenorphine, with this marking. I even looked at similar pills made by the company that uses the TL logo. Subutex is still an opiated, so it may cause such side effects as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mou...

Very trustworthy friend said 8mg subutex white round cherry flavored anyone heard of this? ## No, I just double checked and even the sublingual tablets, both the name brand Subutex and the generic all have markings on them, as required by law in the U.S. This law was put into place by the FDA many years ago for several different reasons. One is that if there is a problem with a certain medication, such as its found to be tainted with something, or to not contain any of the active ingredient, there needed to be some way to trace it back to the manufacturer that made it. And the other issue is that if someone is found unconscious with an unlabeled bottle of pills beside them, emergency personnel need a way to discover what the pills are, so they can provide proper treatment. Thus, prescri...

How are you? What are the markings on them? That is what would enable someone to check them for you to see what they contain. Can you please post back with this information? Thank you! ## Subutex have many generics, yet i dont recall any haveing orange speckles. The suboxone could although.. Anyway subutex brand name are oval with the dagger on one side. There is also round subutex, white with 54/411 on one side and solid on other side. Also a small round white one is avalivable. They are not orange in flavor. I'm trying to stop using H and I have the 54 411, round, white, subutex pills. Do I have to wait 24 hours from my last usage to take one or can I take it right away? I don't want to get withdrawal symptoms from taking it too soon. But I don't want to wait 24 hours because I start feeling sick much sooner than that. ## Hello, Timetoquit! How are you? This is an 8mg sublingual Buprenorphine tablet, a generic for Subutex and since this does not contain the Naloxone that is used in Suboxone to neutralize other opiates, you do not have to be in full withdrawal to start this one, it shouldn't throw you into precipitated withdrawals. Thus, you should take it according to your doctor's instructions. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming an...
