Small Blue Pill Morphine

My Dr prescribes 20mg oxycodone on a monthly basis for my chronic pain. I've been having to take a UA every month when I go to see him. Is this normal practice? I don't abuse the pills. He will only prescribe 75 20 b mgs per month. This is not enough to control my pain but it at least lessens it. Should I find a different dr? I've been a patient there for 5 years. I found a pill with a N on one side and nothing on the other. Someone told me this was morphine. ???? ## The closest match I'm finding to your description happens to be Morphine (30mg), however, this pill appears redish in color with the number "30" imprinted on the other side: imageshack.us/photo/my-images/831/img0051t.jpg It could just be the camera lighting of the photo, but others have regarded this pill as being dark purple in color (perhaps quite similar to blue). If this pill doesn't have it's full effect for the hour period, then can I use tramacet in between? I have a cancerous tumour resting on the main vein exiting the kidney. It cannot be surgically removed. Too many risks involved Waiting to start radiotherapy. In the meantime I'm in a lot of pain and my doctor prescribed this pill. It is a round blue pill with the imprint D 10 and what looks to be three overlapping V's on the back. I believe Diazepam is the street name for blue valium. I was wondering I had a pill I know it was morhine. it was an oblong blue shape and color. It has been awhile I'm a chronic pain patient and I cannot take the newoxy op's I took 80mg 3x a day for along time.
