I'm having bad colds with a runny nose. Can I take Flumucil and Sinutab together? Flumucil is supposed to be taken once a day and the Sinutab dosage is every 4 hours. Can these two medicines be taken together or does taking Sinutab conflict with Flumucil in managing the cough, phlegm and colds?

I have been on fluoxetine for eight months. I am on 40 mg/day. I've always been prone to sinus infections, but my sinus problems have gotten worse and now I have this pain in my sinuses everyday. I realized that I started having worse sinus issues around the same time I started taking fluoxetine - its even documented in my doctor's notes that I have been complaining of sinus pains and infections since about 7 months ago. She says it's a rare side effect so fluoxetine is probably not the culprit, but the sinus pain has gotten so bad that I'm willing to stop taking the meds (the other side effects like the nightmares are driving me nuts too). Anyway, has anyone else had sinus problems related to fluoxetine or Prozac? ## Hello, Alaska! How are you? Actually, they aren't...

I have about 8 of the sulfameth/trimeth that were left over. I've had a horrible sinus problem for years and my Dr wont give me antibiotics, only gives me Fluticasone. Looked up my nostril once that's it. Fluticasone is useless. Very thick mucus, smells bad. Green, yellow, even kinda gray. Maybe I need a specialist I don't know but I will try anything to get rid of this. I have to blow my nose so hard I'm afraid I'm gonna have a stroke Lol. Seriously though, I can't handle this anymore. ## I think it might be time for you to see an Ear, Nose, & Throat specialist to try and get to the root of the problem. I have fluid in my ear for over a year now. My NP tried me all the meds she could but nothing as worked. She finally sent me to an ENT and he has tried me on several meds as well as 2 surgerys( in med injection and a tube in the ear, but nothing as worked. I'm scheduled to a Cortizone injection in a couple of weeks(ugh!!), but my NP has just put me on Amox and Singular for an upper respiratory thing, and I thought it might help for my sinuses and maybe the fluid in my ear but no,it hasn't. I'm going run out the singular soon. Would taking some Benedryl with Amox possibly dry up that fluid and give me back my hearing? I need some relief! I really don't want to get that shot in my ear. He did that when he put the tube in and that hurt like hell. If I can avoid that I want to.
