I have been extremely lightheaded taking sinemet 25/100 3 and 4 times daily. Can it be taken once daily? ## Hello, Judy! How are you feeling? Has there been any change? You should take it according to your doctor's prescribing instructions. Side effects are typically transient and tend to go away, once your body gets used to a medication, but that usually takes about 4 to 5 weeks of taking it at the same consistent dose, as reported by the NIH. Other side effects may include nausea, and headache.

for cough ## This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. The only thing I can suggest is that you try asking your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

Itake 1.5mg mirapex 3 times a day,i take 12 sinemet 25/100 through a course of a day i want to know how do i go about getting myself off these 2 meds my life course has changed i dont need them anymore[PARKINSONS DISEASE]. ## Hi, Kevin! To avoid withdrawal and rebound effects, tapering is usually done very, very slowly. The current preferred method is to have the person start to skip doses, or stretch out the time between when they take them. Such as taking them every 10 hours, rather than every 8 and then slowly lengthening the time even further. But this method can take weeks or months. However, you should consult your doctor to see what method is safest for you. Have you consulted your doctor, yet?

please... ## hi ## These tablets contain Butamirate, they are used to help prevent coughing. This is not available in the US, so I cannot find any other information. ## It has been said that coughing is a good reflex. If Butamirate prevents coughing, don't you think it's bad?

She has to take one neurantin in the sfternoon and then has to set her alarm at !.30am to take another or else her RLS kicks in Can anyone tell me if she may have been given the wrong Med for RLS ## Well, it is not approved for that use, but some doctor's do learn off-label uses for drugs and it is perfectly legal and acceptable for them to prescribe them for such. As to this one, if it does help, them there is no harm in her taking it, it does have less side effects and fewer drug interactions than the others that are commonly prescribed for RLS. As ...

I have been taking sinemet 25/100 for parkinsons. I was taking 8 a day with dr. permission. I began taking more without permission to ward off what i call parkinsons attacks. My dr scolded me and told me to try to go back to 8. I feel the need for another doe before time for the scheduled dose if i only take 8 a day. I realize its like withdrawl from drugs. but do you have any suggestions for me to keep feeling ok without the extra pills? ## Hello, Pam! How are you? Sinemet doesn't work that way, actually. You can't just randomly take more some days to ward off symptoms. For it to be effective a consistent dose needs to be taken daily for about 4 to 5 weeks. It also won't cause severe withdrawal symptoms, since it's not a habit forming medication and you're still tak...

I recently tried to purchase sine-aid at CVS. They could not locate in their catalog let alone sell it. They used to sell it but you had to ask the druggist. ## It does not appear to be available in the U.S., any longer. I am not sure if it is temporary or permanently discontinued. Sine Aid contains Pseudoephedrine and Acetaminophen, the first ingredient probably explains why it is no longer available. Since these products have been moved behind the counter, to prevent abuse, many of them have lost sales and stopped making their products. However, you could ask at the pharmacy for what else they have available that has the same ingredients. Also, have you tried searching for it on the internet to see if you can order it? ## Walmart has it! ## Alternative To Sine Aid - there is a replace...
