Hi. My daughter has dental surgery tomorrow and her Dr now says she needs to take Pepcid ac or similar "acid blocker" the night before. This surgery was scheduled with no warning. For diabetic treatment my dr asked me to take Glimepiride 2mg + Metformin 500mg (1-1), Voglibose 0.3 mg (1-1) & Pioglitazone 30mg + Metformin 500 mg (1-1). Hi, I've been taking Nexium for about a year having switched from Lansoprazole which seemed to have become less effective for my reflux issues. The side effects have gradually worsened over the last 6 months, beginning with bloating that worsened as the day went on but in the last 6 weeks constant headaches and loose stools and diarrhoea with nasty stomach cramps.
