I had numbness from my hip down to my feet, nausea, severe lower back pain and a fever. After getting numbness in my hands before getting to the Emergency Room they pumped me with Hydromorphone and said my Back MRI was OK, could be MS or Diabetes! And to follow up with my Doctor. Now my whole body is numb and I still get fevers off & on. Please HELP! ## Hello, Stanley1us! How are you feeling? I'm very sorry about the problem you're having. Have you consulted your doctor for a follow up and further evaluations? That's the only way you're going to find out what's going on. I am taking 600mg 2xs per day and am experiencing tingling and numbness in extremities (hands, feet, arms etc). I also have a metallic taste in my mouth. Has anyone else had these side effects on Gabapentin? ## Have you consulted your doctor about these symptoms? It can cause a very dry mouth, which may actually be contributing to the metallic taste, but it hasn't been known to cause the tingling and numbness in most people that use it. ## correct only the activas by teva green tablet r636 are the only decent ones made in america that work well other than greenstone made in the states as well work. all others are garbage imo. only take fill with activas greens which are the only green tablets or greenstone white tablets. all others are made out the states and cause severe headaches ...

My husband has been on metanx for 4-5yrs,it has helped with neuropathy in feet, has any one experienced severe pain and swelling in hands as a possible side effect of too much B-6,long term use of mentanx ? ## Hi Karen, Does your husband work on the computer frequently? This is a common cause for pain and swelling in the hands, so I thought I'd ask. Interestingly enough though, I just checked the side effects of Metanx and common side effects include: Drowsiness; feeling of swelling of the entire body; mild diarrhea; numbness or tingling. That said, it could in-fact be that Metanx is causing those complications. Has he sought out any treatment options or decreased his use of the medication?

I have been on topamax for almost 3 years to prevent migraine. I am in my 50's, and on other medications, including deptran and atenolol. At first my side affects were quite severe, so I had to stay on the initial dose of 25mg at night for a few weeks. The main side effects were - word finding difficulties, dry mouth, taste loss, loss of food cravings, and alcohol intolerance, and some tingling and numbness in feet and hands at times. But my headaches stopped, they had been debilitating for a very long time, so I was going to persevere with the side effects. After about 18months or so, I have had breakthrough headache/migraine, and my weight has gone up. My cravings are back, for food and alcohol. Should I increase my night dosage, or not. ## What has your doctor recommended? It is ...
