San Antonio No Insurance

I was seeing a pain doctor from 2008 to 2013. Then I stop and been dealing with the pain for years now. But it's gotten worst than ever. Just had another new MRI done and was told I need to find a new pain doctor. My primary care gave me two weeks worth of meds and told me to find a doctor. The ones he gave me you have to have insurance. I just started a new job and it doesn't kick in for 7 more weeks. I don't want to wait that long. Please help if you can. Thank you

I need to find a kind pain management doc in San Antonio, TX that will take medicaid Amerigroup. I'm currently seeing Dr. Kanishka Monis. He is a nice young man BUT, his staff and their way of handling patients is terrible. I was changed from Butrans 10 patches with 3 8mg suboxone a day to 20 mgs of methadone, after a week of hell I called to see if I could up the dose a little. No. I had to see him. But I couldn't get another appointment for 10 days. They have NO protocol for adjusting dosages in patients that are not at a therapeutic level of medication. I have been in agony for months, there has to be a pain management clinic or doctor that will take Amerigroup insurance in San Antonio,TX that are kind and caring, and don't leave their patients hanging out to dry! I need to find a doctor in san antonio tx.that prescribes suboxone and takes amerigroup insurance ## I need a Dr.That takes amerigroup, Star Plus Medicaid.I have been on norco,fentanyl etc.For pain management off an on since 1988.Please help me.Thank you

I just moved to San Antonio and have all my records from my previous doctor, including my diagnosis as ADD and prescriptions. What I am having trouble is finding a doctor who can prescribe on the Triple Script form (or whatever). Anyone have any recommendations? I'm about to literally go door to door and start asking A) can you prescribe controlled substances, B) Do you take my insurance and C) when's the next appointment? Have been out for weeks and feeling rather spacey. ## Did you ever get an answer? Just moved to San Antonio and need the same thing. Thank you!
