I have been on butrans 10mcg/hour equizilnet to 90mg of morphine or other a day .I would like to change to roxicodone 30 mg because I work out in the heat and the butrans release to quickly and end up being out by the 7 day .but don't know how to go about asking my dr. Any suggestions ? Please help ## My advice would be to just discuss the issue with your doctor, without asking for any specific medication. Trying to get a specific medication tends to give the impression that you are drug seeking, however, there is no harm in telling your doctor of the problem. The green is usually a roxicotin 15 and the blue one commonly refered as blues are 30 mg's. Most 30's also have a imprint of r215 on one side. ## The colors actually don't mean anything, since these tablets are now available for generic manufacture, the only way to tell what it in them and what the dosage is would be from the imprint on the tablet. I went to a pill mill in Alabama and I say this because they never examined me, he wrote out 30 Roxi and Oxycontin 40 for breakthru pain. Now the pain clinic I go to as my back has worsened since yrs ago, wont even give perc 10. and its only 60 the whole month, what? blue m 30 mlg. roxicet ## There is no medication called Roxicet, there is Roxicodone, which just contains the narcotic Oxycodone and there is Percocet, which couples the Oxycodone with Acetaminophen. Is the M in a box, with the 30 on the opposite side, above a score line? It is either Oxycontin, which is a 12 hour time released medication, meant to be taken twice a day or Roxicodone, which is meant to be taken more frequently. Brand new roxicodone 30 is pink with m and 3 4 4 on it. I went to get my monthly presription at medicine stop now carries these for there roxicodone supply. ## I have recently gotten the same script. I actually prefer these new ones over the old blue with m on it. Very good. ## The only listing I can find in the current databases for a pill with M 344 on it lists it as containing 8mgs of Ondansetron, which is used to help treat or prevent nausea and vomiting. Do they list as manufacturer on the prescription bottles? Is the M in a box or is just a plain M?

This is a confusion of the names of two different brand name medications; Percocet, which contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone and Roxicodone, which just contains Oxycodone. My Dr retired and has been prescribing me 30mg roxicodone for the last three years at least and in desperate need to find a new one that will prescribe the same asap ## I know a doctor did you say you live in New Jersey? He has 2 offices one in NYC and one in Westchester. ITS SATURDAY, 4/9, AND I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO LOCATE THE ABOVE MEDS. My Roxicet 30 mg has M30 on it and is blue or green but my neighbors is blue or green w/o M30 on it. What is the difference and how can I tell if they are fake? My neighbor is 73 and she went to the pain clinic and tested neg for this pain med and she was released from the clinuc after taking this med for over 4 years and suffered withdrawals for 2 days as well as from oxycontin and xanax, until i happened to check on her and finally got it out of her she had been out of pain meds for 2 days and she called an ambulance because she did not know they were withdrawals and thought she was having a heart attack. I am on roxicodone 30 mg two three times a day and I pans 40 twice a day. I was wondering what other immediate release would be equivelant to what I'm already on.
