I found information online last night that the Roxane Labs 30 mg, morphine sulfate, imprint 54 262, with scored line on other side is a time released medication, with common usage of every 12 hours. A friend of mine got a prescription of this exact med and the directions are to take 1/2 to 1 pill every 4 hours. Also, there were no warning labels on the bottle regarding not breaking or chewing this med. If this med is time released is he not in danger by breaking the pill in order to only take half? ## Any time one breaks or crushes a time release medication they are altering the way the dosage is delivered. I had the same issue. I called CVS today and was told if i bring the paper script in, they will order the Roxanne 54 411 vs. the Mylans. There is a difference and I don't care what anyone says. Usually those who don't take the RX have the most advise. I don't know what is going on with ROXANNE BUP., but I bet its about money. This Drug was sent to me as a Generic for Lasix, it was marked Furosemide TAB 40MG. But it dosen't look like anything I have taken before. Can someone tell me is it a Generic Lasix? ## Yes, this tablet also contains 40mgs of Furosemide, the active ingredient in Lasix, it's just manufactured by a different company. Rx filled & wondering about oxymorphone 10 mg ir by roxane, what Ive gotten previously. Now got 10 mg ir by teva. The teva doesn't seem to give as much relief. If you had to go without for 2 days, then your pain has actually been aggravated by the rebound effect that can occur with a sudden withdrawal of these types of medications…and that's on top of the typical withdrawal symptoms. My insurance change thus my pm doc changed. He switched me from 100mg er morphine 3xday with 4 10/325 percocet daily and 2 350mg soma to up to 3 30mg ir morphine 4x daily only for pain. No breakthrough med and no muscle relaxer. Am I going to stiffer major wd?or is this captains with what I was taking? So for a couple years now my Roxane/westward/hikma pills have been super inconsistent or just flat out felt like 2mgs instead of 8mgs. Sometimes they work sometimes they do almost nothing. It started in about the end of 2015. I think i was taking them before 2015 but never looked at the brand until i started having withdrawals out of nowhere. It was like a completely different med. So for almost 2 years i have been having issues. I'm fed up and i have changed brands but always only had partial fills and back to the roxane/westward/hikma brand. I have had some cravings lately so I took a couple buprenophine 54 375 pills. I SWALLOWED them and then realized they were the 8mg/2mg and also that i swallowed them instead of under my tongue. I have been f***ed up for 3 days. Bad headaches and no appetite. I swallowed them because i forgot how to take them and either way, it was way too much and I would say be careful. I will not do that again. These things are dangerous. ## When taken under the tongue, the bupe kicks the naloxones ass and it has no effect. When swallowed, the bupe has poor bioavaillabilty 5-10% max. Naloxone is absorbed by the stomach rather well, so it looks like in your case the naloxone beat the bupe. It doesn't happen very often. I have been taking roxane/west-ward pill # 54 411 for over a year now. When I filled my September script, I immediately noticed that it didn't work like before? All other meds the same. It has helped significantly with pain control n sleep. But from the very 1st pill, it didn't help. I know roxane was bought out, but that shouldn't change it? Anyone else notice a difference? I have been on the 10 mgs roxane methadones, 70 mgs daily, for 6 yrs for pain management. I've tried the mallinckrodt but they didn't work as well on me, and several others I know taking methadones for pain. My pharmacy and all the local pharmacies have now quit carrying roxanes and just have the malli's and Acends. I've heard terrible things about the Acends like withdrawals and not working at all. Ive done a lot of research and learned The Roxane Methadones have a distinct taste and disolve super fast but the Malli's are harder to disolve and even though they have the same ingredients they have sand in its inactive ingredient, roxanes don't. I am looking for a pharmacy that carries liquid valium or generic (Diazepam). I see Roxane makes it, but I need it with a non-alcohol suspension. The alcohol works on the same GABA receptors as valium. Does anyone know if Roxane makes it without alcohol? I’m going to call them tomorrow. Just anxious to find out.

I have been getting the generic Subutex Roxane brand 54 411 Buprenorphine tablets for months now from Walmart pharmacy and the past two times I've gotten my prescription filled there, I was given a different generic made by Hi Tech with an 8 and an arrow. I asked them why the change because those little tablets just are not the same and they said the Roxane ones could not be ordered.
