2 Topics FoundHello, I would like to know if anyone is taking Rifampin and what are side effects, i read about it online but would like to know how long side effects usually occur or if they occur at all? Can someone please share their experience. It is very important to me. Thank you in advance. ## I've been experiencing weight gain and am wondering if my weight is increasing due to this medicine I'm taking called R-Cin (Rifampicin) 450mg? Is it a possible side effect? Please advise.

I am a TB patient,earlier i was taking AKT-4 since 8 months. Now my doctor has advise me R-cinex 450mg capsule for 1 month. Is this R-cinex also for TB?, any side effects? ## R-Cinex contains the active ingredient Rifampicin it is an antibiotic and is one of the ones you were taking in the AKT-4.
