I have been taking mirapex for about 6 years for restless legs - just within the past week I was given samples of mirapex er - so far I have not been able to sleep for the second night in a row - legs are very jumpy ## Is it the same dosage as the one you have already been on? The ER stands for Extended Release, this means that the amount of medication in the tablet is slowly released over a certain period of time, rather than all at once. This means, that if they are the same dosage, you might not be getting enough of the medication, at once, to control your symptoms. I've moved from 15mg to 30mg and although the sleepiness subsided quite quickly after beginning the 15mg, the restless legs I have got since taking the 30mg is not subsiding and driving me insane. As advised I take the tablet at night, go to bed as per usual shattered and looking forward to sleep, only to find I am kept up for a minimum of three hours by restless legs. Is there anything I can take to reduce the effect of the restless legs - painkillers etc, that is safe to take alongside Miratazapine???

I need meds for restless legs and fibromyalgia!!! I take 60mg of Cymbalta 1x a day and Lortab 7.50/300mg every 4hrs... I also take Baclofen 10mg for a neck injury when it gets bad but not every day. Nothing helps with the restless legs. I take Oxycodone 5 mg 3 times daily , any better ideas? Is this addictive or will it harm me more? I have PAD and angio 2 times. Ache so bad I never sleep. Been on current med 2 years. ## Oxycodone is a narcotic opiate, so yes, it does have the potential of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, constipation and dry mouth. Hello. I have PLMD, which is movement of the limbs all during the night and not going into a deep sleep. Results is that I am always fatigued and never feel rested. I researched drugs for this and this is why I started the 300 mg Gabapentin 2 nights ago. Anyone else on Gabapentin for this and, if so, have you noticed improvement? hi,i am getting RLS (restless leg syndrome) in both legs over soles and low back pain (mainly in left) and sometime knee joint (very rare). I believ these symptoms are due to some nerve disorder reasons. My nephrologist prescribed me nexito 10 once in night. I do take other BP medicines as well. I was just given a prescription for gabapentin 300mg 90 minutes before bedtime. Can increase 300mg every night to a max of 1200. This increase is weekly. I have symptoms of restless leg syndrome but my problem is much more than RLS. I have heavy legs and problems with balance. I was on Requip with some help to the symptoms but developed compulsive gambling problem. Is anyone else in a similar situation or have any advice for me as to what to expect. I have had this problem for over 5 years. It started with just kinda stubbing your toe as I walked and progressed to turing to walk a certain direction and my upper body moved but my legs did not follow. Things like stepping up on a curb became something to think about and prepare for before I attempted it. My legs and ankles tire easily. Th...

I hv kidney disease and due to that high BP. Both in control with medicatation.Right now my creatinine is 1.66, urea 33 with electrolytes in normal range. From last 2 months my drug for BP & renal is changed to stamlo beta 50/5(1-0-1) & Febuget40 to control BP/uric acid. Before that i was taking Temla R5(1-0-1), Telma R5 changed because potassium increased to >6 so doc advised to take stamlo beta instead telma r5. I took my first and only pill of Augmentin 875 after dinner last night. I got dizzy shortly thereafter. The dizziness subsided after roughly 6 hours, only to be replaced with anxiety, restlessness, and twitching in my legs. My OCD is flaring. It's 2:30 AM, about 8 1/2 hours since I took the pill.
