Omeprazole Caps different colors the same?

What is the difference? They appear to be the same drug but there has to be a difference otherwise why would there by 2 different colors and #s. Please advise. ## What is the difference between the KU R118 (off white/gold) vs. R158 lavendar and gray capsule? ## Omeprazole is a generic for Prilosec and, when a medication is available as a generic, it is usually made by several different companies, thus the only difference in the ones you've asked about is the manufacturer. They are both made by different companies. Is there anything else I can help with?
