Xanax 2089 V good generic....A
Qualitest are just as good as Sandoz and Mylan doesn't come close....That being said, Greenstone are better but my second choice is definitely the 2089V's.... ## It seems like most people here on the site are preferring similar brands to what you mentioned. It must have something to do with the percentage of the active ingredient used and/or presence of certain binders and fillers. Glancing over at other generics on the market, some other manufacturers of 1mg tablets are: Amneal, IP 10, yellow, round, this is an extended release, though. Barr Laboratories, B492, yellow, round CorePharma, Cor188, yellow, round, also an extended release. Dava Pharmaceuticals, S902, green oval Mylan Pharmaceuticals, MYLAN A1, blue, round Par Pharmaceutical, 213, white, round, orally disintigrating ... ...

Vintage Pharmaceuticals
I have been prescribed 1mg xanax x3 po tid prn for the past 14 yrs. I have always taken the generic form, but, this last refill is a generic form that I have never seen before; it's dark blue, scored, with the inscription 2089 V. As I understand, this generic is manufactured by Vintage pharmaceuticals. I am wondering how well 'known' this company is in regards to the quality of their medications. Any information is greatly appreciated. ## Vintage Pharmaceuticals, formerly known as Qualitest, has been manufacturing medications since 1983 and all of their products for sale in the U.S. are FDA approved. We've not had a lot of complaints about their products, unlike some other companies that we get frequent complaints about. The tablet you have does contain 1mg of Alprazolam... ...

2089 v NOT AS EFFECTIVE!!!
I've been on xanax for over two years and have had multiple different drug makers for the generic form of this pill. The maker of this particular pill, Qualitest, is the absollute worst. I've had to take three times the amount of pills to feel the same way I do on any other manufactureres pill. It's so bad that we took the bottle back to the pharmacy and told them they can just throw them out becaue it's garbage. Please don't accept xanax from the maker Qualitest. I promise you will be dissapointed!! ## This tablet is supposed to contain 1mg of Alprazolam, the active ingredient in Xanax. The reason I say supposedly is that I have read several complaints recently on different Vintage/Qualitest products and their not being effective. I am not sure what's going, hav... ...
