Can toplep result in high prolactin levels? I have been taking toplep for 1 year and now my prolactin level has come to be 300. Is it because of toplep? ## My prolactin test results are 71.22 ug/l... Please tell me if this is a normal range for a non-pregnant woman? ## It's not normal. You should visit a doctor and she/he will give you medicine to lower down your prolactin level.

have a prolactin level of 123. I was told that normal level ranges from 2-24. I was told by the doctor that I have a Pituitary Adenoma. i am female, 40 years old. Hi!! I am a 25 years old unmarried girl. I was diagnosed with pcod three months ago and am on pills. I have increased prolactin(38) for which I took cabergoline for eight weeks. Aftr stopping d cabergoline I started feeling pain in both my breasts. I usually have headache an the back of my head and feel dizzy. I also suffer from acidity and stomach ache. I also observe brown discharge sometimes. Please let me know if I am taking the right medicines and what to do with the breast ache and other problems. I did a hormone test and the result came out that my prolactin is very high (47). But my problem is that my breast is not discharging any breast milk. I'm really confused because I don't know if that is really possible and my doc prescribed Parlodel for me. Can someone help me here, is this really possible for my prolactin to be that high and still no discharge of breast milk? I need someone to talk to me please. ## Hello, Angel! How are you? Yes, it can be high, without your producing breast milk. That is just one possible symptom of it. The most common side effects of this medication may include nausea, headaches and vomiting. Hi, I am wanting to conceive again, as I've had irregular periods for a long time now, especially after losing our first baby to pneumonia. I am having irregular periods, to hardly any. It's been nearly one year. The doctor gave me norithisterone. It brought on one period, but it has not come on this month, so I did a pregnancy test the day I was late and it was negative, yet I felt bloated and moody!! I am a female. lately I was feeling very tired and my hair was falling. The last time I get my labs my prolactin was 9.3 ug/L. I was diagnosed to have high Prolactin and I was given Parlodel to reduce the Prolactin. Afterwards my menstral circle stopped and my doctor gave me Primolut N and after which it came. I did it for some months and it stopped again. What can I do

Does Lesuride OD increases Prolactin secretion ? ## Does the drug increase Prolactin level in woman ? I am living in Kharagpur ,West Bengal , India. ## The answer to your question is yes, Lesuride OD (Levosulpiride) is noted to increase prolactin plasma levels. There is actually a study that was done to demonstrate this side effect in patients taking Levosulpiride; in which case hyperprolactinemia developed in all patients, but it was normalized within a week, and symptoms for hyperprolactinemia were seen in only a few cases. Been on bromergon for 3month nw due to high prolactin and infertility 2weeks ago I notice I get too hungry can I be pregnant or is it bromergon side effect. ## (1) Pls I have been having itch all over my left breast since early 2017 and April 2018 it started discharging milk, I did a test and my prolacting Was high, my doc prescribe bromergon which I took and after three weeks milk discharge stopped. But right now my left breast itchies me a lot and my doc just prescribed lotatadine for me which am on. Pls what do you think is causing high the lactating and why is my breast itching me?? I have a problem of irregular menstruation. consulted with doctor, did test PCOD, Thyroid, Prolactin. every test done found normal and within range. hi. .my height is 155cm n weight is 66kgs.. i put on 13 kgs in 2 months. my physician told me to go for a thyroid test.. my tsh level was high and prolactin too.. i was diagnosed with hypothyroidism.
