Prednisone 15 Mg Side Effects

I am currently taking 15 mg if prednisone for a stemtic form of arthritis. Is sleepness one of the side affects. ## Sleeplessness isn't specifically noted as a side effect, but Hyperactivity is. I take 15 mg of meloxicam daily for degenerative arthritis. I also have been prescribed 20 mg of prednisone for gout. Actually, these medications tend to increase the toxicity of each other and increase the risk of gastrointestinal ulceration. Thus, before mixing them, it would be best to check with your doctor to make sure that it is safe for you to do so. You may need to go off the Meloxicam, while on the Prednisone. Have had a bad cold for 15 days, chest infection, coughing sputum all night. Just been prescribed 30 mg Prednisone once daily for 5 days, because of tightness in chest. There is no need to be concerned about stopping it, after 5 days, the U.S. FDA has found that it only needs to be tapered if it has been taken for 21 days, or more. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nervousness and acne. Which ones are you worried about? Perhaps they can be addressed to help you.

is it safe to take prednisone while taking hydrocodone acetaminophen 5-325? ## @dovieann, I searched for possible interactions via The University of Maryland's drug interaction tool and haven't seen any discrepancies listed between Prednisone and Hydrocodone/APAP. So based off that information alone, I'd say there shouldn't be any problems using the two together outside of their own individual side effects.
