I found some suspicious pills in my boyfriend's bag. He is a recovering opioid addict, so this has me alarmed. He does take a ton of supplements & vitamins. These were hidden in a black jewelry bag in a backpack… No markings on these pills. Anyone know what they could be? ## If there are no markings, we can rule it out as being any type of prescription medication. As noted here the FDA requires them all to have unique imprints to help enable their identification in case of emergency. The imprint must enable them to be identified according to medication, dosage, and manufacturer. If there are no markings, it is most likely something that is available over the counter, such as a supplement, unless he has access to foreign medications. Is there anything else I can help with?

Just trying to find out what medicine this is. I just moved into my new home and found a bottle of them. there are no labels on the bottle no numbers or letters it's scored on one side only. ## Hi, Blondie! How are you? If there are no markings on them, then it is most likely going to be difficult to determine what they contain with any certainty. We can rule them out as being a U.S. prescription tablet, since they are all required to have markings to enable their identification, so that means they are probably something that's available over the counter, but that leaves it open to many possibilities. The best suggestion I can make is to just dispose of them properly. However, I will keep looking and post back when I find some information on them. ## Found pill - white round wit...

very small /scored on one side (found in bottle for glybiuride 5 MG) ## It is also a 5mg Glyburide tablet, it is likely that the pharmacy may have been short a pill when they filled the prescription, so one from a different manufacturer was used to provide you with the full amount of tablets. Learn more Glyburide details here. It's very commonly done and they probably just forgot to let you know about it, though most will try to do so as a courtesy. Are there any other questions?

White oval pill with blue specs imprint p r on one side ## @Todd, A description of a white oval pill with blue specks is usually indicative of the weight loss drug known as Phentermine. However I have yet to come across any specific details matching the P R on one side. Whereabouts did you come across this pill? I also wonder if the letter P or R look uniquely shaped/cursive-like/close together/etc..? Any additional clues or insight would be appreciated.

I have a dark blue pill with specs. Imprint is A 215 I just have never seen an oxycodone 30 that dark blue... ## @AJackson, The imprint you're describing (with "A" over "215" separated by a horizontal score line on one side and blank on the other) on a round blue pill is depicted as being Oxycodone hydrochloride 30mgs, manufactured by Actavis. I've seen several images of this pill on the web and they all tend to have slight variations in their hue, due to the quality of the photograph. However, most of them do appear to be lighter in color. With that said, I think the only two honest ways to know for certain that what you have is real, would be to either have it analyzed by a lab or ask yourself where you got them from? - and if they weren't filled through yo...

There is a pill floating around with the same markings are the light blue M 30 pills. it is darker in color though. a dark blue, like the ones with the V on them, but it has some specs in it. i'm not sure what is in them. a friend of mine was about to break one up and insufflate it and when she busted it, it had white in the middle. she said it burned her nose really bad and made her throat numb like when you do coke or something. anybody have ANY idea wtf these things are? are they pharmaceutical? or off the streets? ## The blue pill with the M -30 other side I think its a 30mg morphine pill. ## Their legitimacy probably depends on whether your friend is getting them from a licensed pharmacy or off the street. I don't believe you'd find such discrepancies in color when you ...

I was just wondering if anyone knows what the blue specs in my loritabs are? I just want to know what i am ingesting. ## They are really nothing, there is nothing that requires there to be blue specks in the tablets, it is just something the manufacturer has chosen to do to differentiate their tablets from the others on the market. It is a type of coloring agent that is considered an inactive ingredient by the FDA. Is there anything else I can help with?

v on one side ## white oblong with blue specks ## If that was the only marking, I am inclined to think that this was most likely some type of over the counter product. I am not aware of any prescription medications that meet this description and have only a V on them with no additional markings. Does anyone recognize this tablet? ## Believe that would be your lot tab 7.5 mg also known as specs. Almost certain of it, you might want to talk to your children if you have any. Thanks, and good luck!

Why do these g3722s have blue spots on them... could it b their expired or is it common, and when do they expire anyway ## Hello, Capcom92! How are you? The tablets with the G 3722 marking are manufactured by Greenstone Limited and they list them as containing 2mgs of Alprazolam, which is classified by the FDA as a benzodiazepine that's most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. It carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. But they should be white, so I don't know what the blue specs are, they may have been tampered with, contaminated or they may not be real. If they are not in the original factory sealed bottle, then tablets expire one year from when they were dispensed by a pharma...

This last prescription I got were white tablets with little green specs - one side has the letter V and the other side has 3594. I have only taken solid white tablets in the past for Hydrocodone Pills ## Hi Sandra, The one's marked V 3594 are simply made by a different manufacturer than what most people are used to seeing. Oblong white pills definitely seem to be the most commonly prescribed versions, while there are yellow, blue, pink, orange and green tablets as well. I've also seen the white ones with red specs. Keep in mind though that these colors and/or shapes are always subject to change depending upon the discretion of the manufacturer. I hope this helps!
