Pills that are close to oxycodne or look similar otc ## @Dakinm, Sorry to say this, but there are no OTC pills that resemble A333 oxycodone pills enough to pass for a substitute. This is mainly because no other tablet carries the same type of imprint; which is used to identify the substance, dosage, and manufacturer. I don't know what your reasoning is behind wanting to find something similar, but anyone who takes a moment of their time to look up the imprint wont be fooled by that approach. This may not be the kind of answer you're looking for, though, I believe honesty is the best policy. ...

yeah it is supposed to be a percocet but feels more like a hydrocodone to me ## I agree. It feels like a hydrocodone to me too. It doesn't work nearly as well as the generic Watson 932 I have been taking for pain. ## The pill marked "A333" is in fact listed as generic Percocet (10/325), but I think many others would agree with you that its effects aren't quite up to par with what you would normally expect from this medication. Ever since Actavis bought out Watson, there seems to have been a downgrade in the sheer potency/efficacy of all their pain medications. The FDA also allows a pretty significant variability (20-25%) of the amount of active ingredients found in generic medications. So one scenario could be that Actavis is taking advantage of that and putting the lowe... ...

I just got this medication from a local CVS pharmacy. I had to pay he'll getting it because most pharmacists are LIARS! They once again lied to me about oxycondone being taken off the market. And that my insurance no longer covers this medication. The truth about A333 is LESS tylenol. If this pill does not work as well as watson 932 just take an extra tylenol pill with it. I have been on opiates for 5 years and this pill works just fine for me. ## Hi ben, Sorry to hear about the pharmacy lying to you over your insurance coverage. That sounds like a pretty ridiculous attempt to get you to spend cash. Watson 932 actually has the same amount of Acetaminophen as A333, but I think the difference is that they don't make them with more than 325 mgs anymore. 325 mg is now the new max do... ...

To all of you who find that the A333 doesn't work as well as the Watson 932 you are right. i have been using the Watson for 3 years now with great pain reduction and no side effects. Now after 3 months on the Actavis A333 I am in a lot of pain and am constipated most of the time. Since the FDA allows a 20-25% tolerance, a 10mg pill could only be 8mgs, lets face it you know its not going to go the other way, that would cut into profits. As an organic chemist dealing in DNA & RNA production for the monomers I can tell you that the slightest change can make all the difference in the end product. I can bet the farm that Actavis made the A333 cheaper than Watson so therefor that is why the chemist at Actavis make it and not the chemist at Watson. Any variation in production will make... ...

Whats the difference between the two pills ## Hello, Osha! How are you? There is no difference, as of now they are even manufactured by the same company, since Watson acquired Actavis and has done away with the Watson name. But both contain 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Percocet details here. With some Watson tablets seeming to have disappeared from the market, I think they may be just intending to stick with some of the Actavis products. Is there anything else I can help with? ## The Actavis a333 does not work!!!! I have been taking watson 932 for 3 years and never had a single issue. The 2 ... ...

Are the 325 10 rp better than the a3333? ## I live in south Florida & these are the common 10mg Percocets I've come across. The RP's are not effective at all, and are weak. the A333's are DESCENT for pain relief, and personally are OK. I find the yellow circles with C230 are best besides the pink roxies or endocets. ...

I read this information about the pills on here and people want to make you think your crazy about medicine you have been taking for years. Like I have been taking the WATSON brand Oxycodone 10/325 for years and 1 always worked. It was the only pain med I was taking. I get up in the morning and hurt so bad I would take 1 and with in 15 minutes I felt I could make it through the day. I always had some left over every month. On Jan 2014 I went to get my meds filled and all the sudden no one seems to have the WATSON brand so I got stuck with ACTAVIS brand pill A333 on it for the whole month of Jan I hurt so bad then in Feb I I told my Dr when I got my Prescription he told me to try another pharmacy. I did and I got the ALVOGEN Pill Yellow 230 and the same thing. it worked a little better b... ...

Please, I pray it's only an over the counter product... ## Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but R333 is the code CVS uses to identify their oxycodone generic. It's a very addictive opiate: I would advise taking it from him immediately and getting him something a little less harmful, like a bong. ## Pardon, I meant A333. R333 is the code for hydrocodone. ## Take em cuz they are definitely oxycodone. ## They are not percocet or hyddocodone talk to your phamacist its an impotent drug ## Hi Deb, I am currently taking this medication, for pain. It is DEFINITELY Percocet 10/325. It's generic from Target Pharmacy. I would call a few pharmacy's. If u feel embarrassed to call, say that u are... ...

Are they still making the round white Watson 10-325? After being on them for yrs for pain for my back all of a sudden the pharmacy changes to another that's A333. Not working nearly as well. But was also told that Watson was bought out. Unfortunately I'm one of those people that can't cant generics, & have the perfect formula for my medication til they just threw a wrench in it. Now I'm lost & not sure where to go or what 2 do. Any advise? ## No, that generic is also not being manufactured. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I've noticed I've been having a lot of symptoms that I've never had before until after taking this brand that makes A333. Could there be another ingredient in this pill that isn't found in the Watson 10-325 or the 932? ## Hello, Melvin! How are you? I am not sure what the problem is, but many people have been complaining about this tablet. Please tell me if there is an EXACT replacement for the Watson 392 generic for Percocet. I know Watson has purchased Actavis. I have been taking the Watson 392 for years and the substitute does not help me at all. I take in combination with Fentanyl. Are there other companies that make the "Watson 392" configuration under a different number and name??? I have contacted Actavis several times to see if they have an exact replacement and they have not replied to any of my e-mail. CVS has substituted a Actavis that is supposed to be the same and it isn't. It does not work for me. The number is A333. Yes there is a big difference in the manufacturers of these pills. The white, round, WATSON 925s seem to work best as far as pain relief and "highness". The ovals are ok but not as good as watson...The peach or yellow pills are also less effective than the watsons. ## I just came across an article from this website,"Generics and Biosimilars" titled, "Actavis makes agreement for generic abuse-deterrent oxycodone", Posted 03/05/2013, that explains exactly why everyone is getting sick and feeling no pain relief. "A333" on the other hand is reported to be a generic Percocet, containing 10mgs of Oxycodone hydrochloride + 325mgs of Acetaminophen. a333 Actavis generic oxycodone problem

I received the Actavis brand of oxycodone for 3 months until I almost had a meltdown. I had all the symptoms mentioned above, along with severe depression and anxiety. I was starting to think I had possibly built a resistance to the drug and that is why it was not working anymore. I have 2 elementary age children and I am Mr. Mom. With 4 bulging disk in my lower back I have bone rubbing on bone and am in pain 24/7. I finally went from pharmacy to pharmacy and showed them my physical prescription for oxcodone 10/325, explained the side effects I had with Actavis brand and told the pharmacist that I would switch all my scripts/business to their pharmacy if they had a generic oxycodone that was not Actavis and worked! MFG. Actavis selling bad pills a333

I filled my prescription at Walgreens, it was supposed to be percocet 10/325. When I took the pill I noticed that I was still in pain an hr. later. So i checked the markings on it and it was marked a333, I have gotten generics before and they appeared to work so I thought I may have been given the wrong pill so I started researching and found I was not the only one experiencing this issue with these pills. I went to the pharmacy the next day and the pharmacist said ACTAVIS is NOW the only mfg. of this pill besides WATSONS which is extremely expensive and explained to me that they are very hard to get now because of one company buying out another and so on. The pharmacist refused to take the pills back She then suggested I call my dr.I then got upset and told her my insurance paid $150.0... ...
