small white pill with 238 on one side and 16 on other side ## small white round pill 238 on one side and 16 on other side ## amlodipine 5 mg ## Hello, I was not able to find a pill with the imprint that you described but searching for a pill with a 238 imprint led me to find a pill that I believe you are describing. According to this search on the National Insitute of Health's pill identifier [NIH Search Link] there is a amlodipine pill that has the imprint 238 and IG on the back, which could easily be mistaken for a 16. Below is some additional information that I sourced from the NIH website on this medication. Product Code: 76282-238 Name: Amlodipine 5 MG Oral Tablet Ingredient(s): Amlodipine Besylate Imprint: 238;IG Label Author: Exelan Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Color(s): White Shap...

What is the difference between the white pill and the blue pill with A9? Both are marked Amlodipine tab 5 MG? ## Hello, Maud! How are you? They are just manufactured by different companies, the one with the IG 238 marking is made by InvaGen Pharmaceuticals and the one with the M A9 marking is made by Mylan Pharmaceuticals. Since this is a generic medication, it is manufactured by several different companies, it creates market competition to help keep the prices lower. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with?

It was in the cabinet for a while it is oblong no imprint on one side and one side has 75 MG on the other it has a line in between the 75 and the MG it's a peachy orange color ## I found the same pills in the cabinet and dont remember if they were for the dogs pain. Im like 80%sure they were. ## Nick Based on the information that you have provided it sounds like you found a Carprofen pill which is a pain killer and anti inflammatory for pets. Here is a detailed description of a Carprofen pill. NDC: 50989-238 Color: Orange Shape: Oval Size: 15mm Manufacturer: Stason Animal Health, Inc. It's a NON-NARCOTIC Muscle Relaxor. It's actual name (not any of its "generic" names) is "ROBAXIN". They're 750mg & usually prescribed to take 3 or more tablets a day. Hoe this helps guys! î— ## Thank you for your post! However, to avoid future confusion, I do want to make some clarification. Westward is a pharmaceutical company that manufacturers quite a few different prescription medications, so just because a pill has their logo on it, that doesn't mean it is the generic for Robaxin, which would be Methocarbamol. For a proper identification, you also have to look at the additional markings on the tablet. So, to be precise, the one manufactured by Westward that is an oblong, white tablet that has 750mgs of Methocarbamol in it has the mark...

WHITE ON ONE SIDE THE OTHER RED ## Hi Gloria, I'm not certain as to whether this is a definitive match, but information I am seeing suggests that what you have is an over-the-counter stool softener/laxative by the name of Docusate sodium (100mg). They describe the red and white tablet as being a liquid filled capsule, made by Kroger Co. For verification, it also reportedly carries a National Drug Code of 30142-238. Another attribute to take note of is its size. The particular description I found lists the size as being 12 mm. One other thing I want to mention is that I did come across a nearly identical pill that carried an imprint of "SCU1" as opposed to "SCU2", which was also identified as a stool softener. However this pill was completely red and didn't have w...

What is a small round light blue pill with 220 imprinted on one side and blank on the other? I found it at home with children and just looking to see if I should worry? ## Hi Marbear, If the light blue pill your describing has a bit of an oval shape to it, then my findings point to Naproxen sodium 220mg; an over-the-counter NSAID used for inflammation, fever, minor aches and pains. From what I could gather, the Drug Identification Number is 02385007. If you still have any doubts about the pill ID, I would also encourage you to take it into a local pharmacy for a second opinion. Hope this helps!

Found half pill in house I'm cleaning wondering what it is its 23 on the half I have on other side it looks like a G but the other is missing ## Hello, Raydogg! How are you? From your description, I have a suspicion that you've found half of an Amlodipine tablet, there are 2 available that would have the logo IG on one side and numbers that start with 23 on the other, a 5mg one with 238 and a 10mg one with 239 on it, both are round and white. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that's most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, dry cough, increase urination and hypotension. I can't be certain, of course, since you only have half of the tablet, but that's the ne...

Is this the right refill? ## OLD SCRIPT WAS A9 AND M ON BACK NEW SCRIPT IS IG AND 238 ON BACK - IS THIS THE SAME ? ## Yes, the new tablet also contains 5mgs of Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker that is most commonly used to help lower high blood pressure and treat some cardiac conditions. Small round white pill. 236 on one side and 16 on the other ## Are you absolutely sure of the imprint? I can find nothing with that imprint in what you describe. There are 236 and 286 imprint pills but nothing with 16, IP, ip, etc. I don't believe they are from the U.S. Since the imprint doesn't match the U.S. Ones. Wish I could help more. I tried just looking at the 236 but still didn't find much. None I found were a narcotic, that's for sure, but that doesn't mean they are safe! ## Is is possible that the imprint is IG 238? If so that tablet is listed by InvaGen Pharmaceuticals as containing 5mgs of Amlodipine, which is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea...

I got a prescription Metanx, it was capsules for it and they wanted $400 for 90 day supply 2x a day at Wegman's Rx, insurance won't pay as it is high tech vitamins so I asked about a manufacturer's coupon and they found L-methyl-B6-B12 in generic made by Virtus Pharmacy, they had to order it and it came in the following day by 3:00 p.m. think name was Folbic but not sure, that was $238 for 90 day supply 2x day. The pharmacist was shocked at the price of the "B vitamins". Just started today so will let you know how well it works in a couple months. ## Hi snowy, As someone who's tried several different vitamin products over the past 5 years, I never knew B-vitamins could be so expensive either Lol. $238 sounds a bit unfair, especially since Metanx doesn't appea...
