Hi, my husband has chronic pain from multiple surgeries and has been on 30 mg oxycodone, 2-4 times a day. He found a Doctor to write him a script for 10 days worth of meds, but we can NOT find a pharmacy who carries it or who will give it to him as he just moved here from Out of state.. He had been getting the medication for years at a Walgreens in his previous state of residence, but no Walgreens or any other pharmacy will help us here! We also tried, Cvs, Publix and Walmart. How have you been checking with them to see if they have it? I live in Naples, Florida and I am legally prescribed both methadone and oxycodone. I have an extremely hard time trying fill these prescriptions. I once went to 19 different pharmacies in one day trying to fill them! Only to be told that either they are out, don't carry it, or are no longer taking in New "clients." I finally found a.place that would fill 180 pills of my methadone, even though I am prescribed 270. I had my doctor break up my prescription into two so it would be easier. I then found a place that fills my second part of my prescription with little problems. I've been going to these two different pharmacies on and off for the past two years. Now I find out that the main pharmacy I use is going out of business, andnow the other one has been giving me hassles...

ive been on oxycodone 15mgs for about 3 months for chronic back pain and now this month no pharmacy has it does anyone know whats going on ## I'm sorry, but it is hard to know what pharmacy has any given medication in stock, at any given time. There was a shortage, due to imposed manufacturing limits at the end of the year, so it may just be taking awhile for all pharmacies to get a supply back in to fill prescriptions. Have they given you any estimate of when they might have it back in stock?

It has been my experience that generics made by KVK and Mallinekrodt make me sick. I am a 50 year old woman in severe pain due to a degenerative disc disease, something I was born with and has progressed to the point to where I am unable to stand, walk or sit for very long without medication.
