i need some suggestions for pain meds w out tylenol . been in percocet 10/325 for a few years . my liver tests wewe high so gotta avoid tylenol. i got tramedol doesnt help. ## Hi, Becky! How are you? Is oxycontin and Percocet the same thing except without the tylenol ## Yeah. It's usually extended release instead of the percocet, which is immediate release. I've been taking 15mg of Percocet with Tylenol in them for a year. My dr just gave me a 20mg dose without the Tylenol, but it doesn't seem to be working as well. Why is that? ## The ONLY difference in the two pills is the Tylenol, and 1 of the pills (oxy 20) has 5 mgs more than the Percocet 15? I put the ? small whiteound tablet with only a small score on one side ## i have a round light blue pill. it is scored and has a k on the top half and a 9 on the bottom. the back is unmarked. the prescription was for 30mg percocet, but they ususally have an m on one side and numbers on the back. if you know what i have please let me know, i would hate to take something if my rx was mis-filled. ## its a perk 30 mg ## it is absolutely NOT a Percocet or Percodan. Hello, I have been managing joint and joint replacement pain for years with Norco 10/325 on an as-needed basis. We are using the 10 mg because it as a smaller ratio of Tylenol than the 5/325. I have been careful to use it only as needed because I fear addiction. Recently I painfully injured my hip and needed to use pain killers more often. My doctor switched me to Percocet, which did little for the pain and gave me a huge headache. I thought maybe the headache was a fluke or had to do with switching from Norco, so I spent a 3 day weekend in a chair without any pain meds and then tried the Percocet again, but the results were the same - headache and little pain reduction. My husband took 30 mg of oxycodone. Is that the same as a oxycodone 5-325mg or will it come out different in a urine test?
