overdose info
i worried about my friend. she takes percocets and usually gets the ones that say 512. However sometimes she gets other kinds and complains about there not as good so she takes more. I know percocets have tylenol in them and i am worried about her overdosing on tylenol or the oxycodone in it. How much is to much? Also she usually don't take them all at once but she will take alot throughout the day. Today she got some that some that said 325Mg on one side and L403 on the other and she took 6 in like 2 hrs cause she felt little effects. I just worry about her. Please help me!!! ## Well, first off, the L403 were not Percocets. In fact, they dont even contain oxycodone. They are just plain Tylenol. Tylenol DOES NOT have barely any high effects to it at all. Some one can overdose on it ... ...

white oblong pill a333 what is it
yeah it is supposed to be a percocet but feels more like a hydrocodone to me ## I agree. It feels like a hydrocodone to me too. It doesn't work nearly as well as the generic Watson 932 I have been taking for pain. ## The pill marked "A333" is in fact listed as generic Percocet (10/325), but I think many others would agree with you that its effects aren't quite up to par with what you would normally expect from this medication. Ever since Actavis bought out Watson, there seems to have been a downgrade in the sheer potency/efficacy of all their pain medications. The FDA also allows a pretty significant variability (20-25%) of the amount of active ingredients found in generic medications. So one scenario could be that Actavis is taking advantage of that and putting the lowe... ...

I found some pills in my husbands pant pocket what the hell is it its white flat round says 4839 with a line to cut and the letter v on it ## They are percocets 5 mg oxycodone ## Yes, Brooks is correct, these are a generic version of Percocet, they contain the Oxycodone 5mgs that Brooks mentioned and Acetaminophen 325mgs. So this is a narcotic pain reliever, and they can be very addictive, they also carry a lot of side effects. ## I found some old medication and I can't remember what they are for. They are white with a line through one side and the numbers 44/148 ## Well, the pills marked with 44, then followed by another group of numbers, are over the counter products. Alvogen Inc
I just got this new pill mfg Alvogen inc its the oxycodone-acetaminophen 7.5-325 and its not working like my other ones did Im still hurting could like to know if its me or the mfg's pill .Is anyone else having pain still after taking it . ## It's most likely due to the fact there can be slight fluctuations in generic medications, so this one may have a slightly lower amount of the active ingredient and may not work as well for you. Learn more Percocet details here. Who was the manufacturer of the other one that you were taking? Have you tried to see if your pharmacy can order it in for you? ## I found a form on the fda website to report drugs that are not good. Please report Alvogen for their percocet not working. It's VERY important that the FDA is made aware of this problem ...

Just prescribed Nucynta--multiple, severe lung issues & nervous
Hi there, New to this forum, and appreciate any replies/feedback. My PM doc (who has changed my meds each visit x3) Rx'ed Nucynta 50mg 3x day, a change from Percocet 10/325mg 3x day for BTP. Also switched to Oxycontin 10mg every 12 hours (from Opana ER) Stated he wished to "lighten any burden on my lungs" given my medical status: pulmonary nodules which are increasing in size, both lungs, biopsy next month; severe asthma, residual COPD S/P bilateral PE's 10 years ago. Using Symbicort inhaler. I am uncertain how Nucynta would lighten the burden on my lungs, given the warning about lung conditions/impairment, and specifically asthma--of course, respiratory depression can occur with many pain meds. I also have hypothyroidism & seizures, which are both listed in precauti... ...

4 years expired oxycodone?
I found it in y medicine cabinet and I would like to know if its still safe to take? I don't know much about medicine so I'll just write what the label says: OXYCODONE W/APAP 5/325 TAB MCK subsituted for percocet and the pill has a 512 stamped on it? ## If you are asking if it becomes dangerous as it ages, the answer is no. It does not, however, these medications will lose potency over time, so it may no longer work as well as it did when it was new and may have no efficacy left at all. Taking more, to try to relieve pain can be dangerous, since these also contain Acetaminophen and too much of that can be toxic, to the point of being fatal. The wisest idea is to properly dispose of them and see your doctor for a new prescription if you need help with pain. Do you have any other ... ...
