oxycodone: what strenth is it?

I have some pills that I've found from a old script. I know that they are generic percocets (oxycodone) but I don't know if they are 5/325 or 10/325. 5 or 10mg. they are round white tablets with a line thru one side and Watson 932 on the other. What strenth are they? ## 10mg ## I believe they are 10 mgs. I've been taking them for 5 years now but when I got my perscription filled this time I got round tablets other than the oblong ones. I called the pharmacy to check with them and was told they are 10 mgs. So I'm sure the pharmacy wouldn't lie to me, I've used them for 25 or so years. Hope this is helpful. ## yes, I got those tis month also so guess its correct 10mg. ## medication has a half-life, which means after a certain amount of time its components start to ... ...

I have RSD in both feet and after bladder lift surgery, have all symptoms of RSD in pelvic area. Am taking 6, 15mg morphin and 6 , 10/325 percocett a day plus I have an implanted pain pump with dilaudin in it and I have severe pain 24 hrs a day. Any suggestions to maybe a different type medicine or anything would be appreciated. I also take 4 , 1mg xnax a day and yes I can function. I have beeen taking this for 5 yrs and it does not touch my pain. I have about had it. ## Has your doctor had you try any of the anticonvulsants that have been shown to help with certain types of nerve pain, such as Gabapentin? Or Pregabalin? Many people have gotten very good results with them, so you may want to discuss that with your doctor. What else have you tried? ...

This is supposed to be Percocet??? Very concerned. ## Apparently someone else who was looking for this same exact pill on another thread, said it was supposed to be a Percocet 10/325mg tablet. However, I understand that the imprint has an R and not an A. It's just the only relative match that I found is "A333" on a white oblong (capsule-shaped) tablet. Makes me wonder if the manufacture simply made a mistake on a good batch of their pills? You could try calling the U.S. Customer Relations for Actavis at +1 (800) 272-5525. Maybe they can confirm whether or not it's truly one of their own. I hope this helps! Does anyone else recognize this pill? ## The "R" looks like an "A" after the 333. It is a Percocet. ...

Hi. I need any and all assistance I can possibly get. I live in Wesley Chapel,fl (suburb of Tampa,FL). My doctor changed me yesterday from Percocet 10/325mg to Butrans 20mg and I cannot find this rx anywhere. I am completely out of pain medication and am in immediate need of this rx. Has anyone every filled this rx at any local pharmacies in the Tampa area; if so which pharmacy would possibly have this rx? ## Hi, Janna! How have you been checking for it? If you've been calling around, the pharmacies are going to tell you that they don't carry it or have it in stock, because it's a controlled substance and they have no way of knowing if the person on the other end of the phone is a legitimate customer with a need, or a potential thief. How are you both doing? I am very sorry about the problems that you're having. Rather than taking Percocet, the doctor could still prescribe something with Hydrocodone in it, if that's what works better, it is still available, just with the lower amounts of Acetaminophen. white oblong pill A333 not as effective as other generics

I have been taking oxycodone 10/325 for a serious pain problem for some time now. I am used to getting a round white tablet with Watson imprinted on one side and the numbers 925. Those worked fine for my pain. They were supplied by CVS as a generic for Percocet. I also received another generic that was a yellow oblong tablet and these also worked well. I refilled my prescription last month however and got these white oval tablets with an imprint of A333 on them and not only am I not getting adequate pain coverage but there are many times I felt very strange after taking my medication. The only way I can describe it is weird, tingly, the way I feel if I have been able to sleep and miss taking my afternoon dose. Like I didn't take the medication at all. Hello- I have just had to change my pain medications through a pain clinic due to losing my job. My question is that I went from taking Percocet 10/325 up to 8 times a day, & my doc switched me to MS Contin 60 mg, twice a day. Is this an equivalent dose? Thanks in advance. ## It is stronger. Be sure and take your first dose at least several hours before you have to drive or be alert because it may make you sleepy, even if the Percocet didn't ## Hello, Mich! How are you doing? Oxycodone is 1 and half times stronger than the Morphine. Taking 120mgs of the MS Contin per day means that you are on an equivalent dosage, once the effect of the Acetaminophen is factored in. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as naus... ...

This a333 is generic for percocet and CVS is dispensing them, OXYCODONE10/3.25 is what they are. ## Thanks for taking the time to share this information. To anyone else needing a second opinion, I can also confirm that an oblong white pill marked with "A333" is in fact identified as Oxycodone (10mg) + Acetaminophen (325mg); which is used to treat moderate to severe pain. For verification, this tablet is said to be manufactured by Actavis, and has a National Drug Code of 00228-2983-11. Does anyone here have personal experience or feedback from trying these over other manufacturer's brands/generics?
