how effective is the pink pill 10 mg percoset ## Prescription pain medication effects every individual differently; and more or less in this situation because Oxycodone is a semi-synthetic opioid that is made chemically. That is just my theory anyway. There is really no way a doctor can know ahead of time how any medication can affect anyone. They can only assume that it will be effective based on medical records, current health, age, what the condition is, whether or not any other medications are being taken at the same time, etc. Any of these factors as well as others can affect how you respond to this drug.

Hi, I am prescribed oxycodone HCL 10mg. This medicine helps a lot with my chronic pain but this time when I received my medicine it had this kind in my bottle; the ones with the np and 12 on it. When I take it, it has no affect on my pain. Can you tell me why? What do you recommend? ## I agree th np 12 oxycodone is not like the flat round ones. I have a pink oblong pill with ucb on one side and the number 90 on the other. Would you please tell me what it is. Thank you ## Are you certain of the marking? The only pink, oblong tablet that I can find listed has the UCB on one side and the numbers 910 on the other, though the one can look like it's part of the score line. I received some pills that are suppose to be 10mg Percocet but the imprints is an odd uppercase E & 12 on them. Are these really percs ??? Hello my name is Pinky, I have been on painkillers since 2006 because of extremely bad back. Where I can't do something's for myself. I starting on Vicodin and then my Doctor witch me to Percocet 10 and they work wonderfully. I was able to do a lot of things and I was not in bed anymore. Then about three,four months ago when I had to fill my script I realize that my pills was different and not only that they were not that affective even my husband realize the same thing, and not only that my body change for the worst. I had GI problems everyday from the time I wake up till I go to sleep my anxiety got real bad, I was in and out the hospital and the doctors could not find out why. pink with a 5114 and a v on it ## 5114 V is Acetaminophen 650 mg + Propoxyphene 100 mg a generic Darvocet ## Abe is correct, this was a very mild opiate narcotic that was discontinued several years ago, by the FDA, due to the cardiac dangers it caused, some of which were fatal, as well as the many overdoses it caused. They also warned it carried the risk of being habit forming. Thus, this is an old tablet, that is no longer available in the U.S. Are there any questions?

Was taking BRAND percocet - the only true percocet (pinkish oblong pill that says "percocet") but it was horribly expensive: over $1,000 for 90 pills (one month). My insurance was paying at first but then when I switched insurers, no more, they only pay for generic. After that, I went thru the gamut of generics until now - it seems that Activis has taken over the supplies of percocet at every major pharmacy - Walgreens, Walmart, CVS, etc and that is ALL we can get. For me Activis is a nightmare. I suffer from post-laminectomy syndrome and Activis lasts barely an hour before I need another for break-thru pain. Ok I'm talking 10mg of oxycodone, they are very tiny and pink. My question is I hear people say they take 5/500....or some numbers like that and their round and white. What is the difference? My Dr told me to take two in the morning and 2 in the evening. That's not helping me and it's scaring me Cuz I don't want to raise the dose! ## Percocet contains Oxycodone coupled with Acetaminophen, because it can augment the narcotic, so it works better for some people.
