is this pill simalar to percoset or methedone and what kind of side effects should I expect, or is this more like vicodin. is this a mild pain pill or should I expect something a little stronger.TCLKX ## This is actually a discontinued medication, it contains 100mgs of Propoxyphene and 650mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Darvocet, which is a very mild narcotic analgesic. All medications containing Propoxyphene were removed from the market, by order of the FDA, because it was found to be cardiotoxic. It resulted in severe cardiovascular evens for some users, such as heart attacks and has been known to cause some deaths. Is there anything else I can help you with?

how effective is the pink pill 10 mg percoset ## Prescription pain medication effects every individual differently; and more or less in this situation because Oxycodone is a semi-synthetic opioid that is made chemically. That is just my theory anyway. There is really no way a doctor can know ahead of time how any medication can affect anyone. They can only assume that it will be effective based on medical records, current health, age, what the condition is, whether or not any other medications are being taken at the same time, etc. Any of these factors as well as others can affect how you respond to this drug.

Hi, I am prescribed oxycodone HCL 10mg. This medicine helps a lot with my chronic pain but this time when I received my medicine it had this kind in my bottle; the ones with the np and 12 on it. When I take it, it has no affect on my pain. Can you tell me why? What do you recommend? ## I agree th np 12 oxycodone is not like the flat round ones. They do little for your pain and they are NOT immediate release. ## If I had to speculate on why it's not working as well, there could be a variety of factors influencing its efficacy either all at once and/or singularly at different points in time; be it our metabolism and how it changes throughout the day, our tolerance, weight, body chemistry, different inactive ingredients, less active ingredients used in different generics, etc, etc... I have a pink oblong pill with ucb on one side and the number 90 on the other. Would you please tell me what it is. Thank you ## Are you certain of the marking? The only pink, oblong tablet that I can find listed has the UCB on one side and the numbers 910 on the other, though the one can look like it's part of the score line. It contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone, the active ingredients in Vicodin, it is a narcotic pain reliever. Learn more:

Found little pink pill round np on one side 12 on the other ## My best guess is that this is an over the counter product manufactured by Naturpharm, they make a variety of nutritional supplements that are sold both online, as well as in many stores. That said, I'm not sure which specific one this is, because they aren't required to log the imprints of over the counter products with the FDA. However, I have seen several of their products and I know they use the NP logo. Is anyone familiar with them? taste like baking soda when i chew them up,,,,i have chewed my pain meds for years and never had pills taste like baking soda ## If you're not getting your prescriptions filled at a licensed pharmacy I would question whether you got taken advantage of with counterfeits. Have you considered getting the pills analyzed by a lab to find out what's in it? Did you receive a prescription bottle with a manufacturer's name or any other pertinent details regarding their origin? My hope for your sake is that they're not poisonous or laced with something. I'd definitely determine what it is you're taking BEFORE chewing it up... even if it means sending it in to a lab and waiting a couple weeks.

Usually take Percent 10mg and this time was given round Pink pill with N P 12, I've had a number of serious knee and leg surgeries and I've been taking for two days and I'm not feeling very well, stomach is upset and feeling nauseous but not to bad. I wonder why her doctor would even allow that an he prescribes a lot of different strong meds to her however the perks is what she takes consistently. ## Hi very concerned! R they the 5mg dosage she's taking? When I was on pain management, my Dr. Prescribed me 24 oxycodone 5mg a day. I could take 4 every 4 hours. But, because it was a lot of pills 2 take, they switched me 2 OxyContin with a lower dosage of oxycodone, 4 break through pain. Some Doctors do prescribe the amount she's taking. And, if she's been on them 4 awhile now , she will have built up a tolerance 2 them. Just as I did. If he's the one prescribing the medications she's on, then, he would know she's safe 2 take them.
