My pharmacist notified me that the above med is no longer made. Can I get it by any other name or how can I contact the manufacturer to see if it will be made again? After trying many meds over 10 years it is the only one that works for my wife. Please help. thank you ## My pharmacist told me the same thing here in Michigan about 5 days ago....I called 17 local pharmacies and found (1) that had 150 tablets left and I was able to get them. I was told a couple different things: 1. The drug company was going through a major re-organization and there was a backorder, and 2. The drug is on indefinite hiatus. DOES TALWIN GIVE YOU BAD DREAMS ## According to various medical references, hallucinations and unusual thoughts are listed as side effects of Talwin Nx (Pentazocine and Naloxone); and although there is nothing listed in the way of nightmares, I would think that the bad dreams may still be related to how this drug is effecting your body. Whenever I took Vicodin in the past, it's always given me bad dreams that were very realistic to say the least. So I know first hand that many drugs could potentially cause this as a side effect. Is it bad enough to make you want to switch medications?

Each tablet contains pentazocine hydrochloride equivalent to 50 mg base and naloxone hydrochloride equivalent to 0.5 mg base. The brand name is TALWIN Nx, and it acts as a potent pain killer.

I need to know if there is adiff in just talwain,acentiphine caffine from Talwin NX? ## I would like to know if there is a diff? ## Talwin contains the active ingredient Pentazocine ... Talwin NX contains Pentazocine as well as naloxone hydrochlorides, and it comes in a tablet form. There is also Talwin combound which contains Pentazocine and Aspirin. I hope this helps!

it's a tiny green pill ## it's a lorcet. same thing as a lortab....i called a pharmacist once and asked about it. it has think she told me it has more tylenol than a lortab ## The tablet with the WATSON 395 0.5 marking contains 0.5mgs of Naloxone and 50mgs of Pentazocine, the active ingredients in Talwin NX, it is an opioid analgesic.
