Looking up PDR's for a class project, on different medications. All medications are on the eye, skin and ear. ## I'm sorry, what particular medications were you looking for information on? I cannot possibly post on ALL medications that are used to treat those body parts, there are just far too many.

cough syrup, available in pharmacies in USA, but not listed in PDR. Unsure of ingredients, manufacturer or spelling. I don't believe it contains narcotics. ## I think the med you're referring to is Mytussin DAC. It contains the ingredients Codeine + Guaifenesin + Pseudoephedrine (yes, it contains a narcotic) ## Troy is correct. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and nervousness. Are there any questions I can help with?

nuvigil and methadone do not mix. nuvigil blocks the methadone. In current PDR. ## I believe you are correct. I take Nuvigil for narcolepsy and have started over past few weeks with low dose 20mg methadone for pain. When recently I got my new Nuvigil prescription, the past few days, I have felt dizzy, nauseas after two to four hours of taking it. It may be do to extremely fast elimination of methadone and because of the low dosage I am taking(20mg of methadone) which isn't alot but used for pain, it seems to block almost all of the analgesic, and pain activating mechanisms of methadone. Why this isn't discussed more and should be? Underground world of pharmaceutical industries, greed, money making machines that could care less about understanding and COMMUNICATING with cephalon ...

Where can I identify my meds but the imprint on the pill? There doesn't seem to be such a place unless you buy the $95 PDR. How convenient!! ## Yes there is, there are several excellent free sites that you can use, without spending a penny other than what you normally do for you internet connection. Drugs.com >a href= target=top>WallsRx.com RxList Pharmer.org I have made them clickable for you, they will all help in ID's according to imprint, color, size and shape. You can search by all the information or by just the imprint. ## Sorry for error, but the link it still clickable for the correct site.

This is a 500mg Tylenol pill. People are scratching the rest of an M to make it appear as Hyrocodone. Looks Like M 484. Just Be Aware ## @PDR 500, Thanks for the heads up. However, any legitimate patient shouldn't have to worry about this at all. Anyone can avoid such discrepancies by simply obtaining their Rx medication from a licensed pharmacy and not trying to "beat around the bush", if you will. Counterfeits are becoming much more prevalent throughout the world, as money hungry crooks try to cash in on needy pain patients. The best way to protect yourself is to remain legitimate and follow the rules, despite how restrictive they may be.
