Is SDZ Pantoprazole as effective as Pantoprazole? And how do I take (one pill) of 40 mg. SDZ Pantoprazole each day? Label doesn't say whether with or without meals, etc. Thank you. ## They are both the same, the SDZ just stands for the manufacturer, which is Sandoz in that case. It should be taken with an 8 ounce glass of water, just before a meal, so it has time to start working, by the time your meal is digesting. Is there anything else I can help with?
