Since mid Feb. 2015, I have tapered my BP meds (candesartan-16mg from 32mg; HCT-dropped from 25mg; Amlodipine-5mg) on my PCP's advice as it appears to be increasing my blood creatinine levels. Although my BP has remained normal (117/68 p66) since and indeed gone down, I continue to experience intermittent/sporadic 'burns/tingles' on various parts of my left arm (e.g., outside elbow, fingers, triceps, above wrist, etc.) and upper shoulder. Also, sometimes, I feel activity/heat in my left chest area. My PCP and cardiologist say that as long as my BP is okay and I am able to sustain my workouts that I should not worry. My weekly exercise routine is; 3 hours of heavy weightlifting, 2 hours of singles tennis, 2 hours-biking, and 80 minutes on an elliptical. My heart does not feel...

I was put on metoprol tart 1/2 of 25mg once a day in the hospital after breaking out in a purple dot rash all over my trunk and extreme itch. The Dr in hospital said I was allergic to previous BP med's cardizemCD 180 once a day. Now rash is cleared up but still onmetoprolol tart.
