Round, Thick, Blue pill with capital 'S' on both sides. ## Sounds like a 25 mg Sominex, which is a light blue with a large S on each side of it. ## I need the company name that makes 40mg oxycontin but NOT PERDU PHARMA CAUSE THEY SUCKS ## At this time, there are no generic version of Oxycontin available. The only time released formulation approved in the U.S. is the original name brand manufactured by Purdue Pharma. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. And there is no generic with an S on both sides. Badback, what types of problems did you have with the name brand?

If you go to Apotex Canada & look at document posted 22 hrs ago you will see all the new drugs now out by Apotex..all of the old ones are being produced. I was taken off of Dilaudid 2Mg every 3 hrs to oxycontin 5 Mg every 6 hrs. I was in pain and I never experienced withdrawals, but I did this time. I called the Dr. right away. The Phar. gave my wonderful PM alot of crap, but I finally got back.on the Dilaudid in two days. ## Hello, Linda! How are you doing? I'm sorry about the problem that you had. That wasn't a proper conversion, it would take 5.33mgs of Oxycodone to be equivalent to each 2mgs of the Dilaudid you were taking. So, if you were taking 80mgs of Oxycontin, you would need just 40mgs of Opana. Since it is a narcotic, the side effect profile is basically the same: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. I am facing major surgery in four weeks time and I am fearful that the same will happen as in a similar operation last year. Cold turkey during recovery and no one would listen. I want to die. The above medicine was recently changed from OxyContin 40mg CR to Morphine Sul Tab 30 MG ER due to Insurance not covering the OxyContin. when I went for a refill after hospital discharge medication ran out! I was on oxycodone 30mgs for 7yrs along with oxycontin 40mgs until they changed the oxycontin to the op's and my doc replaced it with opana. my doc retired and I'm now having trouble finding a good doc. the one I'm seeing now lowered all my meds even dropping me down from 30mg oxycodone to 5mg for my breakthrough pain and dropped my opana down to 20mg. he also keeps doing procedures on me that I've had done by 2 other doctors that didn't work then and they're not working now. can someone please tell me of a good doctor that wont keep putting me in more pain and help me with the severe pain I'm in?
