here guys i found something as I am also going thru what u are all going thru. projects.propublica.org/checkup/drugs/2954/states/nevada I need a dr who will prescribe, fentanyl patches 100mg, 14 a month, soma 240mg 4 a day, and oxycodone 30mg 4 a day, xanax. this has always done well for me too, i hate that other ppl have abused them. I feel that ppl who dont have problems with them should continue to get them with no problems. ## Unfortunately, doctor's hands are tied on these matters, due to the new regulations that were set forth by DEA last year. So I was on 3-4 oxycodone 30mg for about a year less then a month ago I was switched to fentanyl 100mg patches I don't like them can i quit cold turkey since I have only been on about month or less or do I have to taper off? ## Fentanyl is a very potent narcotic, it's over 80 times stronger than Morphine, so quitting cold turkey isn't advisable. I take Lortab 10's, Fentanyl 100mg patch every 3 days and Ibuprofen. I stay in constant pain and wanted to know what I could switch to that would be stronger and help with my constant pain. I was on Methadone for 6 years for back surgery, switched from Vicodin, Oxycodone, Duragesic patch, Oxycontin, tried it all, it ALL sucks, I am all healed up now so time to get off the Methadone, Hardest thing I have ever done! I went from 70-100mg a day now down to 1mg and change. Everyone I heard from said to TAPER!
