I am looking for a Dr in Tampa. I already have a current MRI. My problem is that I need a Dr that will prescribe me Roxy 30's even though I do not have a prescription history of them in the past year. Hello, I live in the Houston area. I suffer constant back pain due to Scheuermann's Kyphosis and arthritis. I was prescribed Norco 10/325 for about 2 years and it just was not effective enough to control the pain. Just getting out of bed or performing daily tasks is a struggle. I don't have insurance but can procure a copy of my x-rays and MRI. Hi, all, I just moved to Covington, KY from. Brooklyn, NY. I am taking Nucynta ER 150 mg/3 x a day, lyrica, celexa, Xanax 2 mg/3 x a day and a muscle relaxant. The main issues are the Nucynta and Xanax. I have had doctor after doctor laugh in my face when asking for this prescription. I started Xanax five years ago and Nucynta about a year ago. No one wants to prescribe Nucynta, either. I have tried Vicodin, oxy--everything. But finally found that Nucynta (a drug I paid $1500 for WITH insurance in NY) works for me. I have been taking 120mgs methadone and 90mgs oxycodone per dium for20yrs....pain doctors come and go, but I'm here for the long haul. Today I was informed by my pain specialist in Knoxville Tn. I am being booted out. I have substantial medical proof of need for chronic pain. 5 yrs. of perfect urine , no missed appts. etc. A nurse practitioner pushed my buttons in the wrong manner. Told me I had 3 warnings for short medicine. Highest shortage was 7 pills. I've never asked for and early refill. 2 failed surgeries in my lower back , spinal cord damage in cervical as my arm is numb 70% of the time. I have been on Hydrocodone for 12 yrs.now and it just isn't strong enough to kill the pain any more. My pain management doctor does not have the credentials to even prescribe a schedule III, such as Oxycodone or Morphine.
