I am trying to find a medication oriented pain management dr for someone in the washington dc area ## When I lived in that area, I did not find any that were solely medication oriented. There was one doctor in Rockville that uses medications, as well as other pain management techniques, but it has been a long time and I do not remember his name. Have you tried calling around and asking questions? Does anyone else know of a good doctor in this area? ## Need to find a doctor in Maryland that will write for oxycodone. Any one know any? Hello, I live in Waldorf Maryland I was seeing a wonderful doctor until he passed away. I was getting 90 30mg pills until I changed it to 120 15mg. ( I know what your thinking but I didn't want to have to cut it in half when I needed less ). Because of all the crap associated with anyone taking an narcotic I'm having an extreme issue with finding another doctor. Any suggestions are appreciated. ## Unfortunately, no one can really know ahead of time what a doctor is or is not willing to prescribe, as that is based on the doctor's discretion and not on someone else's previous appointment (especially since many doctor's are now worried about losing their licensing for prescribing too many narcotics). I just moved here from florida and I have been prescribed 130 oxycodone 30 mg for 2 and a half years. I have an mri, script history, and medical record. I have been receiving the same prescription for 7 years. I am prescribed 270 30mg oxycodone a month. I have severe back injury that is inoperable with severe neuropathy into both legs. Since the new quantity guidelines took effect, I have been unable to get my script filled. My Dr secretary drop the ball and did not get prior authorization for the extra quantity. I have bad anxiety and I take both Oxymorphone HCL 5mg as well as Oxymorphone HCL 10mg ER painkillers. is it safe to take prednisone while taking hydrocodone acetaminophen 5-325? ## @dovieann, I searched for possible interactions via The University of Maryland's drug interaction tool and haven't seen any discrepancies listed between Prednisone and Hydrocodone/APAP. So based off that information alone, I'd say there shouldn't be any problems using the two together outside of their own individual side effects.
