Without the full imprint it will be impossible to positively identify. Can you check what the rest of the imprint is and post back? We need to know what follows the 1.

What type of pill is this. It is round, white and has a 5 above the line and a 73 below the line. ## After trying several variations of "5 73" I haven't been able to locate a match in any of the U.S. prescription drug databases. Odds are that it could be either manufactured outside of the U.S. or that it is an over the counter medication, as OTC meds aren't required to be listed in the drug databases. If you're able to, I would consider taking the pill over to your local pharmacy and having it analyzed by their team to see if they can come up with anything. Also double check the marking if you think there's more to it than what you stated. qUITE SMALL, ROUND WHITE TABLET WITH L (OR PERHAPS 7) EMBOSSED ON ONE SIDE ## i found a white round pill with an L starting on it but if theres anything else on it i cant tell cause its scratched off about the size of a perk 30 mg but i havnt seen one starting with an L and no lines on either side ## With such a vague imprint, there is no way to be 100% certain, but there is an over the counter 325mg Aspirin tablet that has this marking. white pill, small as a roxy 15 or 30 but its twice as thick and is very slightly raised on the sides. Has a line across the middle on one side and nothing else on it. Hi. Need help identifying a small white pill. Imprint is LM over the score line and 25 under the score line. ## Hi Kassius, Does your pill also happen to have an "X" on the opposite side? I haven't been able to verify my findings, but from what I could gather, a round white pill with those markings is supposed to be an over-the-counter expectorant and bronchodialator by the name of Vasopro. It contains the active ingredients Ephederine (25mg) + Guaifenesin (200mg). Please post back if you think this could be a match!

Our pathologist and clinical lab director must identify this tablet. This is a white, round lightly scored tablet with "BG" on one side...B on one side of score and G on other. The pill is plain on one side and has an X on the other, like it could be cut into quarters. I can't figure out what it is. I take a lot of pills for various ailments and I'm trying to figure out if it's just one of my old generic prescriptions or something that my daughter left around. My friend says its amoxicillian..i will not take anything with no imprint until im sure what it is. ## Hello, Mary! How are you? That's a very wise stance to have. And no, if there are no markings on it, then it is not Amoxicillin. All prescription tablets that are approved and available in the U.S. have markings on them to enable their identification. A FRIEND SHOWED ME THE PILL. IT AS A LARGE WHITE ROUND PILL. IT HAS A LINE DOWN THE MIDDLE ON ONE SIDE. THAT IS THE ONLY THING ON IT. IT SMELLS LIKE A VITAMIN. All prescription tablets in the U.S. are required to have markings to enable their identification. The only tablets without markings would have to be over the counter products. It has no numbers on it and it is fancy V and scored on the other side That is all that is on the pill ## If that is the only marking on it, then that makes me suspect that it's most likely and over the counter product, which could make it hard to track down. Where did you find it? In the U.S. all manufactured prescription tablets are required to have unique imprints on them to enable their identification, in case of emergency by FDA law. Thus, if there are no markings on it, that most likely means it is some type of over the counter product. How often are they given to you and who is dispensing them to you?

white round pill with LM on one side with line under it then 12.5 and blank on the other side ## This is an Over the counter product, it contains 12.5mgs Ephedrine and 200mgs Guaifenesin, sold for cold and allergy relief. THough products with Ephedrine have been pulled from the market, so it is an older tablet, no longer available.
