SMALL ROUND WHITE PILL WITH A LINE THROUGH IT ON ONE SIDE AND A 1 SOMETHING ON THE OTHER SIDE ## This meets the description of a lot of pills on the market, both over the counter and prescription items. Without the full imprint it will be impossible to positively identify. Can you check what the rest of the imprint is and post back? We need to know what follows the 1.

What type of pill is this. It is round, white and has a 5 above the line and a 73 below the line. ## After trying several variations of "5 73" I haven't been able to locate a match in any of the U.S. prescription drug databases. Odds are that it could be either manufactured outside of the U.S. or that it is an over the counter medication, as OTC meds aren't required to be listed in the drug databases. If you're able to, I would consider taking the pill over to your local pharmacy and having it analyzed by their team to see if they can come up with anything. Also double check the marking if you think there's more to it than what you stated. Hopefully someone else on here has some information on it. ## I just got a refill from Walmart for generic Cozaar, Losartan, ...

It's a generic or store brand. Side effects may include: nausea, headache, drowsiness and stomach irritation. Learn more: Does anyone else recognize this tablet?

white pill, small as a roxy 15 or 30 but its twice as thick and is very slightly raised on the sides. Has a line across the middle on one side and nothing else on it. Is this a steroid? ## Hello, Randal! How are you? If there are no markings, it's rather difficult to be certain of what it contains. We know it's not a U.S. prescription medication, since they are all required to have markings to enable their identification, but it could be any one of a large number of over the counter products or a medication obtained from a foreign source. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone recognize this? ## I have the same issue here with a pill, have you found out what it may be? ## I have a white pill its supposed to be a oxycodone 30 mg but it i...

Bitter taste round thin kinda med size no markings no lines nothing ## Hello, Kia! How are you? If there are no markings, we can rule it out as being a prescription medication, because they are all required to have markings to enable their identification. Unfortunately, that leaves it open to many possible over the counter products. I'll do some searching and post back, when I have some information for you. Does anyone else have an idea of what this might contain? ## Well best way to find out is chew it up and sit back to experience the outcome. We will see how it makes me feel. Let you know tomorrow, if I'm still here among y'all living. ## I received blister packs but they're 2mg Rivotril Martin Dow pills that have no markings and are white and not flat on either side....

Hi. Need help identifying a small white pill. Imprint is LM over the score line and 25 under the score line. ## Hi Kassius, Does your pill also happen to have an "X" on the opposite side? I haven't been able to verify my findings, but from what I could gather, a round white pill with those markings is supposed to be an over-the-counter expectorant and bronchodialator by the name of Vasopro. It contains the active ingredients Ephederine (25mg) + Guaifenesin (200mg). Please post back if you think this could be a match!

Our pathologist and clinical lab director must identify this tablet. This is a white, round lightly scored tablet with "BG" on one side...B on one side of score and G on other. The other side has no markings. Thanks! ## I'm sorry, but I can't find this listed in any of our U.S. prescription drug resources. With that type of marking, it makes me suspect that it is something available over the counter. Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? ## The tablet was found in the U.S., but location of manufacturer/maker is unknown. ## I found it in the U.S AZ to be exact...

round white pill same size as soma but no markings ## It's a very small all white pill with no markings or lines. ## Could be for almost anything over the counter. Could be a Vitamin C or any supplement ## Hello Comments, In the United States the FDA requires that medication be identifiable by its appearance (color, imprint, size, shape etc.). This means the pill you found can be a number of things ranging from a vitamin/supplement to a foreign drug that is not regulated by the FDA. If the pill turned out to be a vitamin or supplement it would be a daunting task to identify the pill with the limited information you have due to the sheer number of brands and types available in the United States. If you are concerned about the contents of the pill I would suggest you contact your loca...

The pill is plain on one side and has an X on the other, like it could be cut into quarters. I can't figure out what it is. I take a lot of pills for various ailments and I'm trying to figure out if it's just one of my old generic prescriptions or something that my daughter left around. The pill is small and looks familiar but I can't seem to find just a plainly divided X pill. ## If it has no markings, other than the score line, we can rule it out as being a U.S. manufactured prescription product, because they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. However, it could be any one of a very large number of over the counter items. Have you tried asking your daughter if she knows what it is? ## i have a circle off white pill thatvhas like a x going ...

found this pill and want to know what my son is taking and what it is for ## There are no listings for anything matching this description in any of our U.S. prescription drug resources. Have you tried asking your son about it? That type of marking, with no other letters or numbers leads me to suspect that it is something available over the counter. Does anyone recognize this tablet? ## If the pill is a little white pill with UL on one side and III (3 lines on the other side) it is Bisoprolol-HCTZ 10-6.25 MG tablet and generally used for Blood pressure control

White pill is Round Flatl With Line Only On One Side ## Hi, if there are no markings, then we can rule it out as being a U.S. manufactured and approved prescription medication. They are all required to have markings to enable their identification. That means that it is most likely some type of over the counter product, which leaves it open to many, many possibilities. There is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Where did you find it? Does anyone else have any ideas?

I found a small round white pill with a fancy V on one side and a line running down the middle on the other side. What is this? Thank you!! ## Hello, Pookie! How are you? With such an obscure marking, this is most likely an over the counter product of some type. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone recognize this tablet? ## It's for acsesive sweating, it basically dries u out and the side effects suck. Most teens suffer from this but only a few end up taking these pills. ## My daughter took that pill for anxiety. It is 1 mg of Ativan (lorazepam) . Strong pill. ## I never saw a lorazepam that looked like this description. I also just looked at a ton of different generic Ativan and I found nothing with a V. ## Lucky you, though, if an Ativa...

white round pill, very think no numbers, letters, scoring. smooth on both sides, ## small, white smooth pill with an engraved line through middle of one side ## That is what I've found, Small white smoothe with one half scoring on one side only, Help !!! ## If there are no markings, we can rule it out as being a U.S. manufactured prescription tablet, because they are all required by law to have imprints to enable their identification in case of emergency. Thus, it is most likely that this is an over the counter product of some type. And, if you've ever purchased a few of them, you know there are quite a few possibilities, among both medications and supplements, that meet this description. found it in my teenage sons pocket in a brown glass bottle ,the pill is 3mm in diam and 2mm thick ,the bottle is 1inch long, what could it be? ## What markings (most pills have numbers and or letters on both sides) are on it and is it scored(does it have a line down the middle?) You might be able to identify it that way. ## Since the post title states that it has no markings, we can rule it out as being a U.S. prescription tablet, since they are all required to have markings to enable their identification. That leaves it open to being something that's available over the counter, since they aren't required to have imprints, a foreign medication or an illicit substance. My friend says its amoxicillian..i will not take anything with no imprint until im sure what it is. ## Hello, Mary! How are you? That's a very wise stance to have. And no, if there are no markings on it, then it is not Amoxicillin. All prescription tablets that are approved and available in the U.S. have markings on them to enable their identification. If it has no markings, it is most likely just some type of over the counter product and being round and white, that leaves it open to many possibilities. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else have any ideas what this might be? ## I know people who take small, white pills with a line down the middle. She says it's oxycodone, & I believe it. Her eyes are always contracted. Be safe.

A FRIEND SHOWED ME THE PILL. IT AS A LARGE WHITE ROUND PILL. IT HAS A LINE DOWN THE MIDDLE ON ONE SIDE. THAT IS THE ONLY THING ON IT. IT SMELLS LIKE A VITAMIN. I HAVE TRIED LOOKING IT UP BUT CAN'T FIND ANYTHING ON IT. ## Hello, Maddison! How are you? There's a very good chance that it is a vitamin, since it has no markings. All prescription tablets in the U.S. are required to have markings to enable their identification. The only tablets without markings would have to be over the counter products. That said, there are many possibilities for what it might contain, but if it smells like a vitamin, then that's as good of a guess as any. Is there anything else I can help with?

It has no numbers on it and it is fancy V and scored on the other side That is all that is on the pill ## If that is the only marking on it, then that makes me suspect that it's most likely and over the counter product, which could make it hard to track down. Where did you find it? Knowing your general location may help, since some products are regional. ## One half white round scored pill V on the bottom half and ending numbers 34 or 84 on top ## Oxycodone 5mg Fancy "v" on one side Scored line through the other side Small white round pill ## My doctor prescribed for me , it has a v on one side and a16 on the other

I have been taking these pills for a while but I’ve forgotten the name and I’m not allowed near them. I’m trying to figure out the name again for a project in school. ## Hello, Angel! How are you? Have they actually been prescribed by a doctor? Can you just ask the name of them? Are there any other markings on them? In the U.S. all manufactured prescription tablets are required to have unique imprints on them to enable their identification, in case of emergency by FDA law. Thus, if there are no markings on it, that most likely means it is some type of over the counter product. How often are they given to you and who is dispensing them to you?

the pill is small, round, white and a line down the middle with no other markings on it ## If there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to determine exactly what this tablet contains. We can rule it out as being a U.S. prescription product, since they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification, but it could be any one of a large number of over the counter products. There is also a small chance that it may be a foreign medication. Where was it found?

white round pill with LM on one side with line under it then 12.5 and blank on the other side ## This is an Over the counter product, it contains 12.5mgs Ephedrine and 200mgs Guaifenesin, sold for cold and allergy relief. THough products with Ephedrine have been pulled from the market, so it is an older tablet, no longer available.
