I found a pill on the floor at home. It is round, orange and has a V on one side and 50 on the other. I've no idea where it came from or what is for. Can anyone please tell me? Thank you ## Hi Megan, The closest match I've been able to find is Prednisone (20 mg); which I've identified as a round orange pill with a fancy V on one side and the imprint 50 92 (divided by a score) on the other side. Prednisone is a synthetic corticosteroid drug that is particularly effective as an immunosuppressant, and affects virtually all of the immune system. It is used to treat certain inflammatory diseases and (at higher doses) cancers, but has significant adverse effects. Short-term side-effects, as with all glucocorticoids, include high blood glucose levels (especially in patients with di...

Friend found this pill that his son had, who refuses to explain how or why he has it. Round pale orange/peach tablet labelled 2.5 on one side, and AF above the score and L below the score. Any help appreciated please ## I haven't found a listing for this, but the information we have is mostly confined to the U.S. However, this is the type of marking that Astra-Zeneca usually uses on their tablets, so they may be able to provide you with an answer. THey have a contact form on their website, astrazeneca.com, so I'd suggest asking them for an identification, but make certain to also let them know what country you are in. If you do get an identification, can you post back and let us know? ## Thank you ! That information was just enough for me to find out what it was. It is Felodur E...

This pill s quite small and is not scored. There's a Q on one side and 100 (with both 0's filled indentation) on the other. Wondering what it is? ## Based on the description provided I located your pill to be an over the counter Coenzyme Q-10 supplement (Chew Q). NOTE: this pill is depicted as being round & yellow, however I cannot find a photo to confirm whether or not the Q and 100 are on different sides of the pill. Many people use coenzyme Q-10 for treating heart and blood vessel conditions such as congestive heart failure (CHF), chest pain (angina), high blood pressure, and heart problems linked to certain cancerdrugs. It has a pretty wide application of other uses as well. I hope this helps!

I found an oval, orange/pink pill, scored on one side with a cursive/fancy "M" on one side. Can anyone identify this pill for me? Thank you! ## Hello, Based on the description provided, I'm not finding any specific tablets listed with that imprint. However I did come across a potential match for the manufacturer. Sanofi-Aventis Pharmaceuticals has what appears to be a cursive "M" on one side of their pill. I could be wrong in assuming that it's an M, but it does look that way. If you were to run a search on google images for "E 018 Pill Allegra" you would likely come across a photo of the logo that I'm referring to. Please post back and let me know if you think this logo fits your description of the cursive/fancy "M"? I hope this helps! ## I t...

What is this pill? It's large (looks almost like a vitamin in shape and size), "S" on one side, and "P" and "N" on other side with a score line down the middle. Kind of bright orange color. ## Hello, Jane! How are you? Since the imprint is rather obscure, I'm not 100% sure, but I think this might be a prenatal vitamin. I do remember finding one a couple years ago that used the P N on one side, but I'm drawing a blank as to whether or not it had an S on it. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? But that would also explain the size and bright color. The FDA notes that prenatal vitamins may cause nausea in some people that take them, due to their potency. ## Thank you for answering. However, that is not really a possibility with this person. Well, ther...

Orangish small round pill with the letter M inside a square stamed on one side and scored on the other side with the number 15 stamped above the score. hey i found a pill that is round, peach or pink, scored on one side with VB or V3 fancy logo on the other cant find this pill anywhere can anyone help ## Hello, Mike! How are you? Unfortunately, I can't find anything matching this description, which leads me to suspect that it is most likely an over the counter product of some type. Where did you find it? Some products are regional, so knowing the general location may help to narrow it down. I'll keep searching and post back, when I have information for you.

what is this? ## Hello, According to the FDA regulations all controlled medication needs to have an imprint on the pill for identification purposes. Now that we know it isn't a prescription medication that leaves the options of being a vitamin, supplement or dietary pill. The problem with this is that there are a plethora of brands and types of each of these on the market and the FDA does not require them to be identifiable through their physical appearance. You do have the option of going to a pharmacy and seeing if they will analyze the contents for you, if not you may need to pay for an analyzing service. If you would rather dispose of the pill you can take it to your local drug drop off which is located at most pharmacies and hospitals. I apologize for not having the direct answ...

just a round flat pill it breaks easily too ## Hi janet, Details I could find on this specific tablet are representing it as a light orange round pill and not white; although they do share the same imprint of "AD" and "30" as you described (including a score line to break it in half). For verification, the national drug code (NDC) for the orange pill is: 54092-0377 That said, I can only assume that the white pill is fake, depending on where you got it from. Did you order them from overseas perhaps?
