Hi, I have used the oralcon pills for a month (21 days) and went off the white pills before I could get my menstruation cycle and now I feel like I am pregnant......is that possible? ## HI, Gertrude! Hey. I forgot to take a white pill a couple days ago but remembered to take it and took it about 5 hours later than i usually do. Will it still be effective? Missing a pill is usually considered a gap of 24 hours or more, from when you were supposed to take it. However, there really isn't going to be much you can do about the weight change, as long as you're taking the Oralcon. It contains a synthetic estrogen and those very commonly cause women to gain weight. Hi. I'm currently using Althea pills and I wanted to switch on the Lady pill because it is much cheaper. When should I start taking the Lady pill? Thanks :) ## Unless your doctor instructs otherwise, you should be able to just make a clean switch from one to the other, when you finish your current pack of pills. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, spotting, headache, irritability, weight changes, and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with?

I took it 24 hours later with the first white one of the new pack. My question is will I be affected by missing one of the red pills? Hi, i have been using Oralcon pills for almost a month now and ever since i have abdominal pains. When i take pain killers the pain goes away for few minutes and comes back again. I cant stand for more than 10min, i can't bent and i can't even sit for a long time. I really dont know what to do anymore ## Stomach upset, nausea, and pain can be a normal side effect of this medication, according to NIH reports. However, if it is that severe, you may need to try a different medication. Have you informed your doctor about this issueand the pain you are experiencing? Are you on any other medications?
