I've been diagnosed Bipolar II. Am currently on, and have been for a few years, Paxil, Lamictal, risperdal and klonopin. Dr just prescribed 20mg Adderall XR cuz I've been complaining about distractibility. I've never been diagnosed with ADD. I've only been on the drug for two weeks, and after reading a bunch of stuff online, I'm scared to death of this drug. I wanna stop but I'm afraid of the crash. Certain types of 30 mg adderall (mainly the big, pink & as of recent orange round ones cut with a cross imprint), tend to not work as well 4 me as the 1's I always used to get orange oval-shaped 1's that read 30 & split in the middle; & kinda tasted like candy). I understand all the negativity about adderall but I think sometimes there is too much negativity. I'm new to this and never told my story online like this before so please bare with me. I was a bad kid right off the bat. I was drinking and consuming cannabis and cigs at age 12. It just got worse from there. I am currently on a generic version of Adderall to moderate my A.D.D. My doctor advised to avoid citrus fruits, like grapefruit, when taking my meds. She said that if i do eat citrus, make sure it is 2 hrs after i have taken the medicine. My question is, will my meds be affected if i've eaten grapefruit 4 hours after taking my morning dose and when i take my second dose in 2 hours? Are these suppose to have the beads inside them or is it powder form? Theyre orange 30mg capsuls with R-3061 on them. Took one and immediately fell asleep? ## There doesn't appear to be any photos of this pill online, however, I did come across posts from others stating that this particular capsule imprinted with "R 3061" does in fact have beads. Im taking generic adderall xr 15 possibly going up to xr 20 in a few days i have insurance but doesnt cover it all. Im looking for a coupon i can use along with my insurance every month. Hi Everyone! Pharmacy tried to give me a new generic--I have always used generic- manufacturer for my Adderall 20XR: Global. I gave it back. Can anyone share their experiences with Global 20XR? In the past when I've switched generic brands with 10mgIR I've had the same major issues that many people have described when switching brands--depression, paranoia, etc. As many people know, this type of thing can totally shut you down at work. I take 90mg of Cymbalta and 900mg of Gabapentin daily for fibromyalgia. I also take Quetiapine 100mg for insomnia nightly. I am prescribed Xanax for anxiety which I take as needed not daily. Hello I just started using Adderall XR (5 mg per dayfor 7 days and 5 mg more a week until reaching 20 mg per day) and I have noticed that my gums have begun to be sensitive and even hurt. I have read that some people experience this but there is very little that I could find about it. Supposedly it may be due to dry mouth, though I have used other meds that caused dry mouth and never have I had sensitive gums. I cannot floss my teeth as it hurts too much. And I am only on 10 mg a day at this point. I have rinsed my mouth, as was suggested online, with water and peroxide and I have also now purchased Biotene mouthwash for dry mouth. I recently read online that the generic form of Adderall contains fillers and inactive ingredients. Is there anyone who was on the generic Adderall switch to the name brand? It works in very short spurts of time and I feel as if I have no control over the medication when I need to come down. I cannot keep staying up until 3 in the morning with 2 babies to take care of.
