white oval tablet bisected m538 on one sude ## I am a little confused by your description of the pill. Yellow line pill V white tablet? Anyhow based on the imprint you provided I located a similar pill with the marking M358 as opposed to the M538 you mentioned. M358 fits your description of white oval and bisected on one side with M358 on the other. This pill is a combination of Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone bitartrate (500 mg - 7.5 mg). Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone is a combination of two types of pain medicine to treat moderate to severe pain. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... The pill is white and oblong in shape. On one side of the pill, there is an imprint of "IP". It's scored in the center, and on the other side, it is imprinted with "111". There is nothing on the opposite side of the pill. I have never received Vicodin that looks like this before. Could it perhaps be something else? ## The generic name for vicodin is hydrocodone. Did you pay less than you normally do for your prescriptions? ## I do not know the cost, I have 100% coverage. Yes, I have taken Vicodin before and yes, I know that Hydrocodone is Vicodin. I was saying I had my drugs filled at the same pharmacy for 9 years and I just didn't think this was Vicodin. ## Yes, this medication contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Hydrocodone, a generic for Vicodin.

I can not find this exact pill anywhere. Does anybody know exactly what it is? It has 44 148 on one side and 500 on the opposite side and is a white round pill. I believe it is pretty old and discontinued maybe and that's why I'm having a hard time. ## This tablet is now manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they have stopped printing the 500 on the opposite side. Teva lists it as containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen, which is a generic, or store brand of extra strength Tylenol. So yes, the one you've found is old. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, headache, dizziness, and stomach upset. These are also available in some first aid kits. This medication is most commonly used to treat fever, dizziness, and moderate aches/pains. Is there anyth...

I found this pill on my brother's floor and am concerned as he has bi-polar and could be self medicating himself. The pill is round and white on both sides, on side says W-R and the other side may have said something but it appears to be scratched away at or worn off. Any help is great...thanks! ## It's very hard to say if we aren't certain of the imprint. There is a white round tablet with WR on one side, nothing on the other that is 500mgs of Methocarbamol, a generic for Robaxin, which is a muscle relaxant, so that is possibly it. It's the only one I'm finding that fits this description and it has no markings on the opposite side, just the WR. Some of the most common side effects are: drowsiness, dry mouth, headache and dizziness. You can read more about it here: M...

The white pill has a groove on one side and "P 500" on the other. It is white and round. What is it? ## Hi Chris, I found one possible ID for this pill based on the description provided. The pill with this imprint has been identified as Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride (500 mg). It is white, but also capsule-shaped or oval as opposed to round. This seems to be the only discrepancy in relation to what you described it as. For further verification, it is Manufactured by Pack Pharmaceuticals, LLC. and the National Drug Code (NDC) is: 16571-0412 Please post back if you can confirm whether or not your pill is an elongated (oval) round shape or simply a perfect circle. Thanks! I hope this helps!

op on one side 10 on the other just like an oxy 10 but fatter ## This is a 10mg tablet of the new Oxycontin OP, it has replaced the regular product and has been specially formulated to help prevent abuse. It still contains the active ingredient Oxycodone and the side effect profile is also still said to be the same: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Read more: Do you have any questions? ## How many mg of Acetaminopen are in OxyContin 10mg round white tablets (labelled Oxycodeone hydrochloride controlled-release) tablets by Purdue Pharma? ## There is no acetaminophen in Oxycontin. The only active ingredient is time released form of oxycodone. You might be thinking of percocet which does contain acetaminophen aka Tylenol (355 or 500 mgs) with immediate release oxycodone.

I found two different looking pills in the same bottle. The pill I'm not sure of is white with 227 on side and nothing on the other. What have I got here? ## Hello, Sandy! How are you? I received my metformin 500 Er pills, white elliptical, for diabetes 2. I was given 3 bottles 360 each. I opened the 3rd bottle and noted the pills are a little smaller and instead of IP 178 on the pill...it has 101 imprinted on one side and the other side is blank. What did they give me. Is it metformin 500 Er or a mistake? ## Hello, Diane! How are you? I can't find anything in the databases with this marking. Can you please double check and post back? The FDA lists the typical side effects of Metformin as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, flatulence, and stomach pain.

If the pill is a white oval with P500 on one side and nothing on the other then it is (Equate extra strength pain reliever/fever reducer acetaminophen 500mg) I'm literally getting ready to take 2 of them after I'm done typing this. If it's a white oval pill that has "P" on one side and "500" on the opposite side then and ONLY THEN is it a ciprofloxacin... PLEASE if you're not 100% on what a medication is call your local ER (Emergency Room) and they will 9/10 let you know what it is rather than listen to people who are misleading and could VERY WELL get you or your loved one KILLED!!! ## Thank you for clarifying this pill's true identity. I think some people researching the topic also tend to get mixed up between this and a purple oblong/oval pill with...

white colored tablet with markings AZ over 273 ## My finding does not pose an exact match to your description, but represents the closest match I could find using the imprint AZ 235 as opposed to AZ 273. AZ 235 is identified as Acetaminophen (500 mg). AZ 273 may have been discontinued or is not available in the US. Acetaminophen is a widely used over-the-counter analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). You can view a detailed description of the drug, by clicking on the link below... I was at the gym when I found a flatish white round pill, blank on one side and blank on the other side besides a single score mark. It's about the size of a large pea. ## Hi Vendi, Because the description of this pill is so broad/vague, I think there's only so much one can do to narrow it down through research alone. On that note, here is a list of other white round pills reportedly bearing a score line on one side with no other markings: Vitamin C oral tab 500mg Vitamin B6 oral tab 50mg Niacin 100mg tab Melatonin 3mg tab Counterfeit/Alleged 'Hydrocodone' 10/325 (from Costa Rica) This might only turn out to be a small list of possibilities at that. So your best bet in my opinion may just be to have its contents analyzed by a lab and/or drug panel in order to pinpoint a ...

what would pill be ?? I found them put away don't recall what they were ## Hello, Missy! How are you? Is the marking IP 190 with 500 on the opposite side? If so, Akyma Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as containing 500mgs of Naproxen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation.

I need to know what that pill is too! Did you find out?? ## Hello, John! How are you? Is the marking possibly CPC? Can you please double check? It's the logo used by Contract Pharmacal Corp, they make various over the counter products. For example their 500mg Acetaminophen tablet, which is a generic for Tylenol, is round, white, has CPC over a score line and 546 below the score. Does this match the tablet in question? The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. ## I'm pretty positive it's not CPC. It has a swirled design over the whole front side of the pill and a quarter scored marks on the other side.

Oblong. White Scored on back ## Hi shell, Based on the description provided, I found your white oblong pill to be Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride (500 mg). My only concern about this match, is that the back of the pill does not appear to have a "score line" per say, but rather an indented arrow; which in my honest opinion could count as a divider. Ciprofloxacin is a drug used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. Round white pill az 011 - I think it's 5/325mg oxycodone-acetaminophen to treat moderate to severe pain. ## Hello, Carol! How are you? Actually, this tablet contains ONLY 500 mg of Acetaminophen.
