I found capsules half orange half blue with the letter O written on the blue and 20 written on the orange, is it possible to find out what they are, I am concerned as they were in my daughters bedroom, thankyou ## They are omeprazole. What is the Om 75 Orange pill compared to cause even though i know that it is a narcotic i want to know what it is like or equal to that i am already familiar with ## This tablet contains 75mgs of Tapentadol, the name brand for it is Nucynta and while it is similar to a narcotic, it actually doesn't act like straight narcotics do. Therefore, if you are familiar with Tramadol, which is a very similar type of medication, it would be closely compared to that, but it is known to be a little more potent. Found it in my son's pocket. He's 21 and I'm wanting to know if it's something illicit? Is he abusing drugs? ## Hi Ian, this appears to be a drug from Australia called Alepam (active ingredient Oxazepam), used in the treatment of anxiety. It is classified as a benzodiazepine. From healthdirect.gov.au: "8 mm pale orange flat bevelled edged tablet marked OM/30 on one side, G on reverse" [1]. I hope this helps!

My husband has been on the above capsule for a week. When he eats acid fruit he vomits 3 to 4 hours later. feels okay after that. I have a pink/blue capsule with G232 G on it. I think it is Prilosec, not sure. Everything I have found gives a different color. ## Glenmark Generics lists this capsule as being orange and purple, they say it contains 40mgs of Omeprazole in a time released formulation. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, flatulence, and stomach pain. Colors can be subjective, though. Just found white oval soft gel no outside lettering or markings with an orange substance in the inside. Any ideas what this could be? ## Hi Bean, Honestly there's no way to really identify something that has no markings, unless you get it lab tested. But based on your description, I get the sense that this is more than likely some sort of dietary supplement, such as omega-3 fish oil, vitamin E, or some other OTC medication. I can only say that because I have actually seen certain fish oil and vitamin supplements both come in gel capsules like that. Did you just happen to find this pill somewhere or were you sold it?

It appears to be a brownish/orange and white toned capsule that is known as Omeprazole (20mg).
