6 Topics FoundI'm confused ...I thought Northstar was the more effective brand of Sertraline, but now I'm finding it's not helping. Is Green Mt. a better Sertraline brand? Or something like Green Mountain (not sure that's the actual brand name). AAARGH. ## Hello, Denise! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no definitive answer that I can give you, it can vary from person to person. It is really a matter of trial and error to discover which one works best for you, if any of them do. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight gain. And is it possible that you were referring to Greenstone? ## Thanks Verwon ... Can you have any alcohol while on Zoloft? ## Zoloft contains the active ingredient Sertraline, it is an SSRI antidepressant. There are risks to combining it with alcohol, this can aggravate the side effects, which can include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and dizziness. You can read more here: Do you have any other questions? ## I know that when I drink I need to put of taking zoloft for 24 hours because I will feel bad. If I take zoloft too soon after drinking (i.e. the next morning) I get a headache, feel tired, depressed, and overall crapy. ## I have been getting very dizzy with sweats at times and have fainted once since using Northstar generic Zoloft
