In March of 2014 I was involved in a bus accident on lovely SEPTA. The i**** bus driver hit a PARKED VAN on the Blvd during clear weather. Anyway, the bus was partially destroyed and I suffered two herniated discs which have caused me no end of pain. The lawyer I retained sent me to MRCP where I received physical therapy. It helped for awhile but after a period of time it just stopped helping. Now I am in the situation where I am in pain EVERY DAY. If feels like a knife is twisted in the middle of my back at all times because of the pain. The fat shyt Dr. at this place, Dr. Silverman, prescribed me a series of medicines that did NOT work: Tramadol, Naproyxen, and Gabantin. pain medication ## Oral Ketorolac (Toradol) is used to relieve pain and reduce inflammation (swelling). It is used for a short time to treat headache, dental pain, sports-related injuries, and other painful conditions. Ketorolac is used to relieve moderately severe pain, usually pain that occurs after an operation or other painful procedure. It belongs to the group of medicines called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Ketorolac is not a narcotic and is not habit-forming. It will not cause physical or mental dependence, as narcotics can. However, ketorolac is sometimes used together with a narcotic to provide better pain relief than either medicine used alone. ## I was in Mexico having pain in my upper right gum area that went up into my jaw. 3 months before, I had 1 root ca...

Can the 2 medicines be taken together? Meloxicam and oxycod/apap ## Hello, Deb! How are you? I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between these two medications, so it should be fine, if your doctor approves, but it's always best to double check. The FDA classifies Oxycodone/Acetaminophen as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Meloxicam is classified as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, favor and swelling. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with?
