blue oval pill ## Narcotic pain medication come in odd mg. doses like 22 mg. very addictive ## No, there is no Norco available in a 22mg dosage. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. The strongest dosage available contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. What are the markings on the tablet in question?

Why have they changed the yellow narco to white. The white don't work ,and it takes more than one to get any relief, I have a six inch rod and screws in my neck that's needs to be redone but willing to chance it. There are some people who really need what has been working. ## Are the markings on the tablets the same? If not, then the white one was most likely manufactured by a different company, and this isn't a color change. Norco contains Acetaminophen, and Hydrocodone, and is available as a generic, so it is manufactured by several different pharmaceutical companies. The FDA warns that Norco carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constiaption, and dry mouth. Ref: Norco Information

plese send me a picture of this pill Ineed to varify that I have the right pill. ## I don't have a picture to post for you, due to copyright reasons. how many tylenol 4 are equal to a 10MG 325 hydrocodone? ## You'd need about 66.67mgs of Codeine to be equivalent to each 10mgs of Hydrocodone, so that would be about a tablet and a half, give or take. However, due to the Acetaminophen that is also in Tylenol 4, you should not take more, unless your doctor has specifically instructed you to do so. Taking too much of it in any 24 hour period may cause overdose toxicity, which can be fatal. The FDA classifies these medications as narcotic analgesics, so they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes, why is Tylenol 4 a schedule 3 & Hydrocodone 10/200 a schedule 2? Please explain the logic as I'...

Is there such thing as hydrocodone-acetaminophen 40/325mg ## Hello, Briggs! How are you? No, the maximum dosage that is standardly available contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone with 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. The only way someone could have a higher dosage would be if their doctor specially ordered it and it was done by a compounding pharmacy. Is there anything else I can help with?

Just wanted to know which one is stronger and by how much? Thanks, ## Hello, Dale! How are you? Technically, neither. However, for some people that Acetaminophen in Percocet can augment the action of the Oxycodone, so it may be more effective and could be the same as them taking 12 or 13mgs of the Oxycodone. But, it doesn't work that way for everyone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I heard that they are going to stop making the lorcet 10mg. Is there any truth to this? ## Hello, Lauren! How are you? Not that I'm aware of, I've not seen anything stating such. They did, however, change it to a schedule 2 medication at the beginning of October, so it can no longer have refills. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. They did discontinue the ones with the higher amounts of Acetaminophen in them, due to the risks associated with its overdose, so you can only get dosages with a maximum of 325mgs per. How do I get off dependency from this drug.? I take 2 tablets a day. ## can oxycodone apap trigger CHF is I have codine allergy? ## Paolo, have you tried asking your doctor for help with stopping this medication? They should be able to help you taper off, which can be effective as long as you haven't been abusing it and/or taking extremely high doses. They do have a new effective addiction treatment using Suboxone, an opiate containing the active ingredient Buprenoprhine, which has enabled many people to be completely drug free, but it is only used for those suffering from severe addiction, not for those who have only been taking a medication as prescribed. You can read more about it here: ## Oxycodone/APAP (Acetaminophen) is a generic for Percocet, this is a narcotic pain reliever....

hydrocodone-apap 10mg/325mg pale yellow tablet... I would like to know if this drug could cause itching? ## Yes, Hydrocodone can cause itching. Its called puritis, and is a very common side effect of the medication. ## That is correct, narcotics can cause itching in some people as a side effect, however, there is also another way it could be causing it and that would be if you are allergic to something in it. Have you consulted your doctor? In such cases, it is very important to discuss it with your doctor to determine if it is a side effect, or due to being allergic to something in the tablets. ## Yes, many of us using this drug experience itching. It is normal. No worries, just never take more than prescribed. Good luck! ## Yes, but you can take a Benadryl with it ## I have been takin...

Now I wonder if it is as good as the yellow I have been taking ?? Or have I been switched to a less effective generic by my pharmacist bcuz he samed money on a batch of something that is not going to work as well for me ## Hello, Larry! How are you? These tablets are listed as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Oxycodone, the active ingredients in Percocet or Roxicet. Which generic your pharmacy carries may change, at any given time, depending on which manufacturer was offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed to restock their supply. I have been taken hydrocodone 10/325 up to 4 a day for several years now for chronic pain in my back and knees the hydro is not doing as good now as befor. The Dr changed me today to oxycodone 5-325 up to 4 a day. Can some please tell me how much of a difference it is going to be? Will I be able to tell the difference? I mean it looks the oxy is less mg. Can't seem to find a answer myself. Can I get some advise please? Thanks ## Hello, Georgia girl! How are you? I really can't say as to whether or not you will feel a difference, it really depends on your body. Oxycodone does work better for pain relief for some people, but not all. Additionally, the Hydrocodone is weaker, so you'd need 6.67mgs of Oxycodone to equal each 10mgs of the Hydrocodone that you were taking, so there...

The higher the number, the stronger the dose. So a 10/750 would be stronger than a 10/325. However, that dose is no longer manufactured. They've all been lowered to contain no more than 325mgs of the Acetaminophen per dose. Am I crazy!? I just switched from Percs 7.5-500 to Percs 10-325 and I feel it doesn't work near the same at all. The 7.5-500 made me more pain free, and more chipper. The 10's just make me feel dazed and dizzy! Could the acetaminophen actually help that much more? So confused. Tempted to ask to go back to 7.5. I just hate feeling tired! ## The Acetaminophen does help the narcotic work better and it can also vary from person to person, so having a higher amount of it may make it work a lot better for you. Another thing that may play a role is if the new ones are from a different manufacturer, if that is the case, then they may not work as well for you, depending on fluctuations in the active ingredient, plus the inactive ingredients.
