How do others find this generic version of Xanax? Want to make sure that the pharmacy gave me the right medication. ## Are there any markings on your tablet? Alprazolam, the active ingredient in Xanax, is used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and irritability. ## Yes there are markings on alprazolam, depending on the manufactuer & these days there are lot's of companies who jumped on the xanax bus. Also yes, I take it for severe anxiety & ptsd. In VA. It's hard to stay on them. They take them away. In which now I have heart problems due to soaring BP when out and in withdrawal ## This is the only manufacturer I use for generic Xanax!

I have taken small dosage of Alprazolam 0.5 ER in morning and 0.5 regular at bedtime for years. I have always had the generic Dava and it has worked fine. Now the pharmacy is changing to SunPharma. I refused it after reading about some manufacturing shutdowns. I am considering Costco shipping mine since it so much less expensive. They carry Boca generic. Walmart carried Purpac or Actavis. Has anybody ever used any of these and do you find differences in ability to control anxiety. Hi. Surprisingly my body likes Mylan better than other brands. I have tried Greenstone and Sandoz and don't like any of them Last time I got Alprazolam was back in 2012 that CVS carried it. I live in California and have not been able to find one single pharmacy who carries the Mylan brand. I would appreciate it if anyone who has recently filled a Mylan brand prescription in US would help me with this. Substituted for xanax 0.5 mg, what does the label mean? ## Is xanax .5 a strong xanax? ## Xanax contains the active ingredient Alprazolam, this is a Benzodiazepine, used to treat nerve and anxiety disorders and some cases of insomnia. 0.5mgs means it is half a milligram, so no, not a particularly strong dose, but this is a very potent medication, so if you haven't taken it before, it will probably work quite well for you. And "Myl" most likely means the manufacturer "Mylan" Some common side effects you may experience can include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and headache. ## No, I take .5 twice a day. I have taken Alprazolam for months and not had any major problems with its effectiveness. Mylan by far worked the best. But now with Aurobindo brand I feel like I’m taking a "sugar pill". The prescribed dose is 2mg as needed up to 4 times a day. The first day I took all 8 mg, despite not filling them until 5:00 pm. I didn’t sleep that night at all and the next day took just as many, with a tiny slice of relief from my anxiety. Usually I don’t take more than 2.5mg- 3 mg a day. I was thinking that i never heard of a round alprazolam cause i seen all kinds but that one is it as good as the bars or other alprazolam? ## Yes, it is available as a white, round tablet. The manufacturers can make a generic medication look however they want it to, since the shape and color means nothing. As long as it has the same active ingredient it will work the same as any of the others. My friend called them one time and they were actually able to give him an answer. Just say that you are calling about Drug Identification. ## Smalll peach/pink pill with Mylan A3 is 0.5 mg Alprazolam. Used to treat nervousness and anxiety. Can also be used to treat panic attacks.

Someone I know has these. They think they are mylan non US. Possibly out of Europe. Can anyone confirm having had light blue oval alprazolam not marked or scored? ## I know it is really difficult to identify a light blue oval/football shaped pill with no markings or score.
