My baby is suffering from cold and cough, the doctor prescribe cefixime ultraxime to be taken 2 times a day 1mL for 7 days. I forgot what the doctor said and by mistake i gave my son 3 times a cefixime for 1 day only and by the following day i followed what the doctor said. Is it safe for my baby boy to take 3 times a day?

my daughter was perscribed this for a possible UTI for 10 days she is only 3 years old and complains that it hurts when she pees, do you know how long thiswill take to work and for her pain to go away? ## What medication was she prescribed? You didn't mention it, or post this under a specific medication forum. I'm assuming it's an antibiotic and they can take a few days to start working and for the pain to ease.

doctor just put my son who is 3 on this drug...i'm not sure what to think..if i should even give him his first pill or not....they put him on .25 twice a day ## a dr put your 3 yr old on risperdal? that is for mental problems.. how would they know at that age if a child has a mental problem of any kind? i wouldn't give this to my child, i would get a second opioion from another dr. ## Risperdol has helped my daughter for many years.
