Muscle Twitching

I have been on Contrave for three months but the last couple weeks I am having muscle twitching bad enough to keep me awake. Could the Contrave be causing this? ## Hello, Patty! How are you? I get muscle spasms and twitches all over. Has anyone had Botox injections for eye twiching? I have and they did not use numbing while injecting into my eye lids and surrounding eyes. I was wondering why they can not numb the area? ## I have. I don't know why they can use anything to numb it. But the pain is worth making the eye twitch stop. I'd tried everything: calcium, magnesium, potassium, saw a neurologist. I had severe pain that went down my spine to my thighs and not pain is only on behind my right knee. difficult climbing the stairs. I am taking pragabalin 50 mg since March/2016. I have been taking emsam for 4 years. I guess one of the first patients. I have shaking in my muscles. I also take Ativan 1 mg a day. Don't understand why my head shakes also the muscles around my eyes. Very uncomfortable but won't make me give up Emsam. ## The twitching is listed as being a possible serious side effect of the Emsam that could signify health problems. After getting serious about taking my medications within 2 weeks I noticed weakness in my back and tingles up my spine suddenly I became dizzy and very weak I feel as if I lack judgement of distance when walking, my muscles are also twitching all over, I have pain in my arms and legs. ## I too have muscle weekness. Experiencing Pain in my calf & leg muscles during the daytime. During the night, I wake up with leg muscles twitching. Get up, go to bathroom, back to bed & back to sleep. i am 47 and have been on this drug twice a day for around 3yrs and since taking i have had muscles spasms, twitching,constipation,feeling high,but the drugs works well so am not sure whether to continue and put up with these side effects which can be quite annoying or check with doctor about changing the drug ? what do you think ## Is the only one in this drug class that you've tried? I got the vivitrol shot and drank a lot then I took 2 of my naltrexone pills because I felt bad for drinking. 5 hours later my muscles are twitching a lot and my legs are cramping is this a normal side effect (should I ride it out) or should I go to the hospital. Could it be too much naltrexone? Or is my body withdrawing from the alcohol. ## I experienced no side effects from Naltrexone and have not had the vivitrol shot. Hi, I was placed on a Pylera ten day treatment for H-Pylori, but during the course of the treatment, I felt uncoordinated, dizzy and very ill. On day 9, my left thumb started twitching, along with spasms. I ended up in the E.R. twice, but all they told me that I was ok and it would go away. The left thumb has stopped, thank GOD, but the twitching and muscle spasms have progressed and its been over a month since I immediately stopped taking the Pylera. I also have episodes of feeling uncoordinated, weakness in my legs and a lot of trouble sleeping. Is there any pharmacies in Orlando or places around the neighborhood that will fill a prescription for Roxicodone 30 Mg or 15 Mg ? Express scripts filled them but i received total junk !! not from the manufacture, but some off the wall company, and gave me very bad side effects. ( Severe twitching of the neck muscles and dry mouth ) And didn't do anything at all for pain. Seems every pharmacy I go to has the same saying.. We don't carry that or, we're out ? Started 2005 600mg of Lyrica for three years asked Dr. to go down to 400mg. 4 weeks ago New Neurologist-Just went down to 200mg now 100mg-going off. Dr. said combination of the other meds I'm on is deadly. You really have to advocate for yourself. Never go to Dr. alone. My seritonin levels were so high it was causing muscle spasms, twitching, jerking, balance issues (all which I was given other drugs to control the symptoms fromLyrica. Every day my mind is clearer. I've been on oxycodone 30's (120) and (240) methadone 10mg for 10 years, then out of nowhere they cut my meds in half. It was the worst time ever to punish me for not going in for an MRI on my back.
