yellow and white capsule w/ 505 & 30 mg imprinted on it ## I just got small yellow round tabs of morphine. I was taking three 10mg oxycodones everyday. Now I want to take two tabs of morphine everyday but don't know the milligram. What do you think it could be? ## To the original poster, does it also have the word Avinza on it? If so, it contains 30mgs of Morphine, which is a narcotic analgesic. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Micheal, what are the markings on it? I require additional information in order to help you. Can you please post back and clarify?

How do I know if my 60 mg morphine capsule has been tampered with? ## What gives you reason to suspect they've been tampered with? What are the markings on them? Do they look the same as when you received them from your pharmacy? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

there is no writing on the capsule but the bottle it was in said morphine DSS 15 - 50 milligram morphine ## Hello, Paigey! How are you? From what you've listed, it seems you may have found a medication that was specially ordered by someone's doctor and made by a compounding pharmacy, because this isn't something that's available as a standard manufactured medication. Morphine is a narcotic analgesic and the DSS usually stands for Decussate Sodium, which is a laxative and stool softener, likely added in to counteract the constipation that the Morphine can cause as a side effect. This medication also carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause other side effects, including nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth, as listed by the FDA. Is there anything else I...

Trying to identify a pink and white capsule which I believe to be Morphine ER. ## Are there any markings on the capsule in question? If it is an extended release Morphine, it should have some markings on it to enable their identification according to U.S. FDA law. The only exception would be for medications done by a compounding pharmacy, which would not be time released. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as headache, dizziness, drowsiness, constipation, and dry mouth.

I was just given a new prescription for the Actavis 90mg morphine capsule. Just wondering, does it really last for 24 hours? ## In theory, it should, but it can really vary from person to person, so the only thing you can do is try it and see how long it works for you. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. (NDC Code 0228-3506) Are you sure it is manufactured by Actavis? ## Is there a 90-milligram morphine pill that's off-white in color, round, one side has a line across the middle & the other side has a big "C" on it?

orange tablet 60 E65555 ## what kind of 10 mg morphine com in a capsule and is marked m- eslon and has a weird shaped pic on it as well contains white beads??? ## show all pics of morphine pills ## WELL MM, why don't you ask Manning what they look like. Doesn't he need it to work 24 hours straight? ## The orange, oval tablet with the marking 60 E655 contains 60mgs of Morphine in a controlled release formulation, it is a generic for MS Contin. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it may be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. The M-Eslon is just another name brand for Morphine. And as to showing pics of all, there are far too many available for anyone to be able to post them all for you. Are there any markings on the one ...

I find it ridiculous that sooo many people are messing around with schedule II narcotics yet have no clue to the potency, side effects, drug interactions, etc.. are you people not adults? Oxy is indeed a good 1.5% stronger than morphine and not at all subtle like morphine.. Most doses of Oxy that are between 15-30 mg are IR's not ER (extended release like most morphine)... SO BE CAREFUL AND FOR YOUR LIFE'S SAKE! DO SOME SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH BEFORE POPPING YOUR PILLS LIKE CANDY!! 60 mg of oxy in one release can stop your breathing! ## Hello, Nobody! Thank you for the warning you have posted for others. However, I do want to correct one point. The only instant release Oxycodone available is a 5mg capsule. Anything greater than 5mgs is regular release or time released. This is a nar...

100mg morphine pill, what does it look like, generic or otherwise ## Does a 100 mg morphine pill have 100 on one side and an N on the other in the color of brownish-grey? ## blue pill abg on one side 100 on other ## SInce it is available as a generic, in several formulations, I can't possibly list the imprint and description for all of them. However, Joe, yes that tablet you asked about does contain 100mgs of Morphine in a time released formulation, a generic for MS Contin. Sammy, I can't find any listings for a tablet that matches that description, with those markings. Was it found/obtained in the U.S. or elsewhere? ## i have found small white capsules with N on the left side and 100 on the right, i have looked all over the web and cannot find out what they are, could somebody ...

red and white capsule has Pfuer printed on the red side and PGN 75 printed on the white side ## THIS IS NOT MORPHINE NOR ANY TYPE OF NARCOTIC! This is Pregabalin 75mgs, a generic for Lyrica. This is used to help prevent Epileptic seizures and to treat certain types of nerve pain. It is NOT a narcotic nor related to one, though. ## By the way, that is what the code PGN 75 stands for Pregabalin 75mgs. Pfizer is the manufacturer.

what doest it look like ## There is no 1.5mg Morphine available as a prescription tablet, or capsule. Did you possibly mean 15mgs? What are the markings on the ones in question? That would enable me to research more information for you. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

## would like to know what it looks like ## the 30 mg comes in a blue greenish caqpsule and the 10 comes in a capsule also just a little smaller ## are their morphine in red & white capsules? ## While I can see that Nora tried to provide some information, but that is not entirely correct, while Morphine is available in caspule form, it is also available in tablets. So, as to being able to say what it looks like, that is almost impossible. Once a med is available to be made and sold as a generic, when the proprietary name brand patent has run out, there are hundreds of pharmaceutical companies that can pick up the manufacture of it. There are also no guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry that says all pills or capsules with the same active ingredient must be the same size, shape,...

teal and white capsule ## There are many morphine 60mgs available on the market in both capsules and pills forms. Without providing me with the full imprint on your capsule, I cannot confirm what it is, or provide any information. There are no proprietary guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry that says all pills or capsules with the same ingredients have to look the same. Their size, shape, and color are entirely up to the manufactured and how they decide to make them. If you respond back with the imprint on your capsule, I will gladly check what it is for you, and let you know. Thank you! ## -teal & white @ 60mg on one side of capsule 506 on other white side ## Okay, thanks, that makes it much easier to identify. Hello I am trying to find a pain killer I took in the 80's for pain from severe burns. It was Black and Red. It was a capsule. It was an Opiate. It worked really well and did not make me sick!!! That's what this is all about!!! I hurt my back and I have been prescribed Morphine, Hydracodone, "The Patch", etc. I am suffering from the side effects of these meds and I was telling my Dr., who is really young, and doesn't know this med. So I don't remember this drugs name as I was so young and I can't track it as the Pharmacy and hospital I got it from are all closed down. Please help!!! ## Hello, Jallen2! How are you? I'm sorry, but just knowing the colors and that it was a capsule isn't enough to point to what it might have been. It might even no longer ...

green and white capsule 60mg ## The drug is a Hydocodine. It is a very potent pill. I have seen them as low as a 10mg and as high as 90mg. There are for sever pain, and should be taken w/ caution. LIke I said VERY potent! ## Correct spelling is Hydrocodone ## This pill is not hydrocodone or hydrocodine. It is a type of morphine iI just don't know what kind. ## Are there any other symbols or numbers on the capsule ? I have the following description which might help: Capsule Half White, Half Bluish Green with the imprint 60 mg on the white half, and if you turn it over 506 on the other side of the white half: This is 60 mg Morphine Sulfate Extended Release brand name Avinza. Does any part of this description sound like a match ?

theres 3 diff kinds all capsules 1 is pink 2 is all white and 3 is half white half green no markings to identify them i was told it was morphine but im not sure ## Half green and white but no imprints on pill . ## If there are no markings, there is no way to be sure what they contain, unless you could actually have them lab tested. Under current U.S. law, all manufactured prescription products are required to have unique imprints to enable their identification. If a tablet or capsule does not have any markings, it could be an over the counter product, a foreign medication, or something that was specially ordered by a doctor and created by a compounding pharmacy. what does a morphine 30 mg look like? ## Morphine 30mg tablets and capsules come in many different colors, shapes, and sizes. I've seen the 30mg tabs in the following colors/shapes (there may be more as well): green - round brown - oblong pink - oval purple/white - capsule white - oval white - round purple - round However, if you were to know a specific imprint on a particular pill, I could narrow the details down for you by manufacturer and drug code. Hopefully this helps none the less! ## I have a pill that someone says is a morphine 30mg. It is hot pink, oval, with a capital N on one side and 30 on the other. It might be 50mg Tramadol. Mine have no matkings at all. Tramadol is an opiate, stronger than Codeine, but weaker than Morphine. I take 8 capsules a day, 2 every six hours for a trapped nerve in my hand. I am an over 50 male of about 200 lbs. so my dose might be way too much for say a teneager or a woman. ## Mike, My daughter has same problem as you have and she finally tried acupuncture and it helped. Every few years problem tries to re occur and she goes for acupuncture and problem again is resolved. ## Hi Mike, I believe you are right about the pill in question. The closest match I could find is Tramadol 50 mg. Also, I agree that acupuncture would be a great and natural way to treat your nerve pain. I have a problem with a nerve in my left foot and I have had good results from acupun...

On my formulary list, it shows Morphine Sulfate bead, as a category of morphine available. I am currently taking morphine sulfate ER 30 mg., but the cost is $90 for a quantity of 90 pills (1 month supply). The Morphine Sulfate bead is shown with a cost of only $15 per month. What is the bead type of morphine and would this be an option for me to use instead of the ER type? ## It is just another time released formulation in a capsule, from what I can find. Are you currently taking tablets, or a name brand? The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
